  • He wants u to buy his VCD!

  • im doing Tai chi since in 13 years old now 45 and still learning

im 32 years in Tai Chi and this is good...happy to see this

  • I wish I could achieve this level one day...

This video will help me a lot.

Everything is difficult to learn and you have to practise hard. But I love Tai Chi Chuan. I´m a little perfectionist, but I`m feeling much better since the beginning.

  • who first.

  • I hope one day I can acheive this level in my Tai Chi

  • You will if you are willing. :)

  • I am more than willing. I believe I can help people with Tai Chi. It hasd helped me with so much in my life and now I would love to help people with it.

    andrew

  • Believe me I am more than willing :D This has been my dream goal for 8 years now.

  • wow ur still not good even after 8 yrs!? tai chi must be hard!!!

  • It's not hard, but it takes time, like wisdom.

  • Tai Chi isn't hard. You must have a yearning to learn and a willingness to always learn something new. I wish I could have a master help me refine my skill to reach the level of master so I can help other people through Tai Chi

  • thats really cool!

  • Originally there were no names to the moves; people originally just fought, using quick, direct, forceful methods. Learning through imitation and experience after many generations of transmitting swordsmanship, the amount of skill that one could acquire became art-like, and became its own discipline.

Once one knows how to run, he can easily walk. Similarly, once developing coordination to a high-degree in Tai-Chi, it becomes easy to revert back to direct and efficient moves in a battle.

  • you dont see the inner power embedded in the action....

  • The original purpose of the sword was used for battle. After thousands of years of fighting, arms race, and skill refinement, people became to accept that it can be used to improve coordination and health.

  • I don't know if swordsmanship makes you any more healthy, but in certain situations it can definitely help you live longer.

  • Yea like if a guy does a triple backflip and attacks you with a sword, and you have a sword aswell, you will be able to pwn his face cause you have some 1337 sword EXP lvl 70 pwnage

  • ROFL Well said

  • lol... whoever said "the sword was only made for battle" has never encountered tai chi, eh?

  • Perfect infinite stars,

i can always say : "training, training, training"

  • whats the name of the song in the background?

  • great almost at three years. now i just have to find a sword that fits.

  • Hi! Thanks you for the video is so beatiful... Please tell me how can you do this form so good? I'm beginning the sword in tai chi it's very difficult... Maybe is not the same form but is very interesting afterall. The second movement, the cut at your right, tell me, explain better me this second movement i'm here ^^.another thanks and compliments for the video.

  • Just got back from a trip. It is midnight now. Will answer your question tomorrow.

  • Tai chi takes time to practice. Once you get to a level/skill it will make your moves natural and balanced. That cut is a combination of redirect opponent's force and attacking. Tai Chi's move always yielding first and striking followed.

  • thanks for the explanation, you has been very kind. compliments for the video.

  • wow very beautifull and fluid, i am a student of traditional yang style tai chi and would love to learn the sword form. what year in training would you recomend is a good time to start? thanks

  • Oh, I know, Master Tsao suggests me three years!

  • You are clearly someone who has devoted a great deal of time and practice to your art. Very well done.

  • Thank you for understand and appreciate my sharing!!

  • Taiji is so beautiful, I love to watch your videos. Thanks for making them.

  • any movement promotes well being, its up to the human imagination to make it worth while and mystic.

  • *yawn*

  • Dang I'd love to have a private beach area to practice. haha.

  • Although I'm just an orange belt, I've already started my studing of the sword. I'm learning the 32 form. Which form is yours? The second sword form, perhaps?

I hope to become as good as you one day!

  • I am doing the Classic Yang Sword Form 67, some people also call it Yang Sword Form 56. Tai Chi Sword Form 32 was created by Li Tianji, my teacher Professor Li Deyin's uncle. It is a good routine to start!

  • what do u mean you are an orange belt? Do you have a teacher that teaches a great deal of students and actually gives you belts to remember?? sounds like a bad karate class.

  • Why do you keep mentioning your "orange belt"?

  • Superb execution!

Just the right balance between strength and grace!

p.s. maplethief78 don't forget he is using a weapon, so a certain amount of strength is needed to give sense to what you're doing. Specially if you don't want it to look like you're doing a ballet.

  • Thank you Cheryl78! I will do my best to share more what I learned from grandmasters in China.

  • He uses too much strength while doing it.

  • This guy is awaesome
