Hi, Winston!

Great vid. I maidened my F-5E yesterday and had a great flight. I have to say though the sudden power loss as the battery lost most of it' charge made the landing a bit hairy. I have never flown EDF before so the speed of that took me by surprise. Is such a rapid loss of power normal? (stock Exceed/Jpower 1300 3s battery).

The speed controller shuts down when the battery voltage gets to (I think) 3 volts. If a lipo battery goes completely dead then it is junk and will not take a charge again. You just have to know when to land before you completely run out of power. It sucks, I know, but that's just the way it is I guess.

Well, like Dave always says, anybody can punch holes in the sky, but if you can't land it, then you ain't got nothin' left after the first flight. I plan on keeping this jet for a while, and no more crashes due to radio interference! Thanks for the comment asshole.....er I mean azh01e. LOL. JK.

hahaha! On a side note, I've been up in your neck of the woods, specifically Le Mars Iowa, they got a BIG rc club out there with lots of members and planes. We've considered moving that way. If and when maybe we'll have to meet up and you can give me some landing tips. HAAHAH!

yea, hahah I checked it too last time we were there. It was nice. I met some guys at the field and they had tons of nitro planes, they do a bunch of buddy-boxes and seem eager to let you play with their toys.

I'm in desperate need for heli help too, I got two birds grounded by my ignorance and lack of experience. I'll have to con Mr. Herbert into teaching me to fly my helis. I promise I won't be an assho... err azh01e. LOL!

Thanks for the compliment. I use to like Dale Jarrett, but since he retired I really don't have a favorite driver anymore. I kinda lean towards Carl Edwards and Denny Hamlin though.
