I'm not big on lyris but Operation Ivy is one of the few bands that I have a huge respect for their lyrics.

there will always be people who dislike op iv. it's probably because the band's music has a very distinct and unique sound. the masses like the shit that marches to the same lame fucking beat. and op iv really defied that beat...they really branched out and did their own thing, and for that i admire them.
