  • I think DiDonato is better, more secure and careful. Devia seems a bit careless and reckless at times.

  • well then...I think that's all that needs to be said about Tanti affetti lol. Brava~!

  • Nice though awfully cautious and slow... listen to Lucia Aliberti blaze her way through it...and, she's this great throughout the performance. Her duet with Blake..wow! The Aliberti is posted here on utube.

  • @resborzage Well the Aliberti's version is also great!! I love it.

  • Excepcional !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bravissima eccezzionale

  • non ho parole

  • wow awesome i've never heard a soprano sing this..my other fave is marilyn horne

  • Devia not only cool singer, she is good person also!

  • Five stars for the magnificent Mariella Devia, but not for the conductor (Daniele Gatti).

I have this performance on CD and wish it had been conducted by Alberto Zedda.

  • Chissa come sarebbe felice Rossini nel sentire la sua musica cantata in questo modo superlativo....Anche lui impazzirebbe per Mariella...e chissa che diavolerie scriverebbe per lei. :-)))))))

  • Absolutely awesme! I've never heard this sung as well as she does here. Just wish she had a more visibile prescene in the US!

  • Devia made my heart skip some beats when I heard this in Pesaro. Such a sophisticated rendition. Thanks for uploading.

  • Exquisite!!!

  • Bravissima. Very unusual interpretations. She end's it with an easy high Eb...
