Gasket needs to be replaced on the door! had to do this on mine and solved the problem. Door might also need to be tightened as constanlty opening/closing will mean it needs to be adjusted at least every year. If you can put a dollar bill between unit and door and still pull it out, must do the above 2 things and problem solved. Normal maintance!
2. Door gasket does not seal! If this is a gasification boiler, (2nd generation Wood Doctor) free air reaching the box will cause it to flash- which is what it seems to be doing. All gasification boilers require sealed burn chamber.
3. The refractory in the heat transfer area moved during shipment or installation and blocked the flue.
it will only do this for two reasons its possible that there is something pluging the chimney or this person has something explosive in the stove like maybe waste oil

1. Boiler is on its side! Stand it up!
