To the commentators who believe the USA & Canada r the most beautiful places on earth. Have you looked at the smog over LA? what causes this? Then there's the traffic congestion. The barren ugly dessert in the south-west full of frightening creatures e.g. gila monsters, snakes, tarantulas, fire ants, killer bees. Gangsters & ghettos in Chicago, polluted lakes e.g. Ontario. Mid-west bland plains, I got bored driving thru it. People eaten by grizzlies, alligators, wolves & cougars. Thank God 4 NZ.

@joshua12345a Even in NZ crimes against Nature, wildlife and people are being committed. You obviously didn't watch the series about the rivers being polluted and the native fish made extinct. It was on March/April 2011 while I was there. Also if you google buy land karikari peninsula you will see that they are paving Paradise. If they will let developers cut down native bush up there they will do it anywhere. I very much doubt it's the only place in NZ where crucial habitat is being destroyed

A cm more the other way and we would not be here. Meteorites that crashed unto the earth's core brought us ice which then melted into water and bacteria which over time became organisms. When another meteorite crashed is brought us oxygen and other gases which gave way to more species.
