It goes under the assy that has the two hoses and the two screens.. there is a plastic tab on the main bottom case. one end goes there, the other end on the bottom of the above mentioned assy.. the spring pulls it towards the center of the printer. There is also a shorter spring that goes in the same area. one end goes on the tip (pointy part) of the "arm" that slides with the above mentioned assy and the other end attaches to another plastic tab on the main bottom case.
