Dear Karl, your music is so refreshing and innovative, that it's impossible not to enjoy it! Your incredible voice gives it a note of mistery which is hard to find in music nowadays.

@TanteA Thanks Anette. I'll tell you, this is a song I wrote and performed with my group many decades ago. We had some good gigs and were well-reviewed. So I've had it in my head all this time that I needed to find my groove again. And I'm glad i recorded this. But, you know, that was then and this is now. There is so much I never learned about music and the world has changed. I really enjoy discovering new things and experimenting now. Again, I really appreciate the nice comment - Karl
Your transitions and your keyboard/organ playing in this is amazing! Great vocals as well! So well put together! I got my girlfriend into your music too, her favorite is "Wait Outside". Keep up the great work!
@mgturn99 Hey Anthony. I really appreciate this nice comment. This is a song I wrote and played with my group long long ago. It's good to see people can enjoy it today. Have a great weekend, my friend. - Karl
Master Karl, your work is beautiful and amazing. You know seamlessly blend various musical styles and give life to a single work, personal and extremely original. There are reminiscences of the great psychedelic bands of the early seventies, the magic of a wonderful classic organ sound with contemporary music. A masterpiece.
@Sietesegundosgroup Ruffo, my friend, thank you so much for the kind words. You guys have a rockin band down there, making some wonderful music and if I ever get to Argentina I'll catch your act. best regards, Karl
ahh haaa. how bout that, a slow mo video. I like the 3:19 part where you turn your eyes at the camera, and then the 5:19 end where you almost look scared when hearing those spooky chords.
Very cool song Karl, your playing and vocals are pretty darn awesome here. Love the King Crimson, Yes, ELP, Peter Gabriel flavors in this. You freek'd me out a little at 3:18 when you looked at the camera, thought you were doing some kind of mind control with the thought bending music :-) Took me a few seconds to shake myself loose, ha ha!
@brucewbowser Thanks Bruce. Really like the superlatives : ) And those are the influences, alright. The song is actually 40 years old. We had a rockin band back in 1970 and played it pretty much as it sounds here - except for the pipe organ, of course. Thanks again.
Karl, absolutely fantastic, but then again, all your works are. The production on this is such a cut above.....I always love those lyrics of yours too. Just great work! :) Janet
@onewomanandsomesongs Thanks Janet. Really kind words. - and much appreciated. Like I say, I think the YT compression issue has improved in the last few weeks because my initial test post of this came out really distorted. But this actually isn't too bad. Thanks again, my friend.
OMG! This is a terrific tune! I have just favorited and playlisted it. The combination of of the church organ and the drumset is phantastic. It reminds me on the best of the 70s. Very very good.
@TanteA Hi Anette. Your compliment is especially meaningful coming from a musician of your high caliber. I very much appreciate your kind encouragement. I always loved the progressive rock era and never understood how disco happened. And I always thought the pipe organ sound could be integrated with drums / rock music instrumentation. Again, I really appreciate your feedback. Take care, Karl
This sounds as though hours of work has gone into creating it Karl. It is mind boggling, as though rock and classical music has been combined in one trippy piece. It would be great live too. I can imagine hearing a crowd cheering at the end like on some live album...
@CurtisMateer Thanks Pete. Appreciate the feedback, You’ve done some innovative work yourself lately with ancient texts. It’s been a while but I really enjoyed playing this live I’d love to go on the road again someday, all I need are a few thousand fans .. in every town : )
Epic piece - a feast for the mind and ears! This is really amazingly well put together, Karl! GREAT! (It took me a while to notice that the "video" is actually moving!) The organ is something else!
@cadwalladee Thanks Scott. I really value your comments. You and I have both been using mostly single images, but this time i thought I'd try something fancy and actually have the image move, albeit slowly :)
Hi Karl, this is a very impressive song and recording, bringing to mine King Crimson and Yes from days gone by, but it is certainly not dated at all. I think this may be your very best effort so far, which is saying a lot due to the high quality of your other creations. My compliments on a great piece of work. -Ron
