Do you just throw out your spent grain!?!? Have you read "Alcohol Can Be a Gas!"? You can take chanterelle mushroom spores, mix them with the spent grain, put them in garbage bag then hang it and put some slits in the bag. Stick the whole thing somewhere dark and slightly damp (basements are great for this) and you can get POUNDS of chanterelles.
