i think the 5.5 gen maximas are the fastest because they come with the 3.5 motor and they are much lighter than the 6th gens i have a 4th gen right now (96)and its my first car i love it wat i want is a (97-99) cause i love how they changed the front bumper and tails and then i want a 5.5 max cant wait for that one

chernmax i have got to say you have the sickest maxima on this planet. i recently bought a 2001 maxima se ( im only 16 so the 6th gen was out of my price range). man theyre fast tho, and there such sleeper cars, some kid can pull up next to me in a civic or v6 mustang and i can kill him from stoplight to stop light, anyway i thot id tell you that cuz it was your maxima that convinced me to get one. thanks for all the vids,keep up the good work

Same engine as found in a 350Z, and only if you start going over 450hp should you start worring about internals. Next time do your homework, I did!!!

All depends on your goals with it. Price, Performance, ability to Mod, CVT, gas mileage, new verse old, etc.

Lots of great Maxima years and in my opinion the new 09 Max looks HOT!!!

hey may i ask, i currently have nissan maxima 2000, and there's been problems with the car ever since it hit 20k in the meter, you having any problem with the 2004 nissan maxima?

Btw im only 16 right now, and by far, i only drove 3 cars, my brothers honda accord, my friends evo 7 and the maxima(my daily drive)

By far i like the maxima since i've been driving it everyday, only drove the evo 7 once, so i wouldnt wanna compare.

I was talking to the kid with the 2000. Nah, I dont like the look of new cars. They look to....cartoonish, like Hot Weels or somthing, lol. And I like the the way the MAXIMA emblem is centerd on the trunk on the 95-99's.
