February 14th 2010 - 11:30pm until 12:05am.

Out walking the dog, saw a similar 'object' moving up lickprivick road, turning left along carnoustie crescent, moving towards hairmyres, then vanishing in the distance. A few minutes later it was back and followed the same 'route'. An orange glow, with no engine noise. Waiting to see if anyone else reports it in the EK news.

There not Sea Flares they only last bout 20 secs then fizzle out...they look like Chinese Fire Lanterns m8.Some shops sell them now (including down EK town centre) as things to buy for celebrations i.e. 21 st's,weddings,anniversary's etc.

wierd on christmas eve night i saw 4 orange things in the sky they came pretty close to where i was look out of ma window but they didnt hav any noise was strange n then they just jetted off really fast, any1 else see that, i come from EK/Glasgow area

a mate of mine just left my house around this time, he seen a bunch of teenagers pointing to something in the sky, he looked up and seen it too, he described them as orange globes, flying fast, i sent this video to him and he confirmed that this is what he and the bunch of teenagers saw, right outside my own house and i fkn missed it, typical..pah!!

Unbelieveable! I seen exactly the same thing as you Stu, only i saw others much further along the skyline. Going at tremendous speed and glittering orange and amber in very smooth flight patterns.

we saw two of these muthas on Saturday 19/09/09 and one was travelling towards where I was watching on Telford Road, the other was going vertical at a great rate of knots. Not funny after watching the thing.
