My view is that there should be a law preventing that group from continuing those demonstrations at funerals, sure let them protest, just forbid them from going to funerals and harassing these families. I was abroad in the military for 10 years, I come back, everyone's forced into the SAME classes, which have to cater to the slow ones!

Being a self-respecting woman I can't accept any religion, all religions have misogynistic fundamentals, hell, even Jainism - an eastern religion where they sweep bugs out of their path so as not to harm another living being - their faith says that if a woman leads a good enough life as her husband's slave, she may be lucky enough to be reincarnated as a man. But the hypocrisy I'm referring to is the fact that most Christians use the bible to argue their case against something, yet the church has consistently tried to change the bible and it's translation. If it is in fact so holy and unquestionable, what gives these people any right to meddle with it? It's either absolute or it isn't, all I am saying is 'stick to your story'.

My view is that there should be a law preventing that group from continuing those demonstrations at funerals, sure let them protest, just forbid them from going to funerals and harassing these families. My husband says it is their right to free speech. Of course they have the right to free speech, but they should not be able to harass grieving families like that. Surely there's a middle ground

A government that just throws money at it!
Teachers unions are there to make life better for the TEACHERS and that is all their job is, better benefits, smaller class sizes, less workload, higher wages, job security, the final product is of no concern to any union!
Parents that have no expectations of their kids, or work too many hours just to get by they don't have time, high divorce rate!
Unmotivated kids!

BUT the schools aren't allowed to separate the kids who WANT to learn from the kids who DON'T anymore. Back when I was in school, there were "fast track" classes for kids who excelled, and "slow track" classes for kids who couldn't/wouldn't learn. I was abroad in the military for 10 years, I come back, everyone's forced into the SAME classes, which have to cater to the slow ones!
