It's barely about the cars, it's the character that makes that show so great. I'm an avid car enthusiast, but there are a lot of car shows out there that I absolutely CANNOT bear watching.

The reason why Tpo Gear/JC is a succesful broadcaster is that he isn't scared to have an opinion (Just like you after 1/2 a shandy down the pub). Thank god. In a celebrit world stuffed full of the inconsequential, the dull and banal here is one of the very few who doesn't care too much that you don't like his opinions.

It will be a sorry day for broadcasting when his like are "Pasteurised out" of the media.

Yes but we dont talk about it. Seriously though its because they used to work together on old Top Gear but Tiff went to a channel 5 show called 5th Gear and Clarkson heads the re-invented Top Gear. A healthy rivalry. As far as im aware they are friends though.

Nah. They used to work together before it was the "new" Top Gear. He very much respects Tiff. He's mentioned him on Top Gear once or twice, saying how Tiff likes so-and-so car, etc...

yeah both the programs are rivals, tiff and the other presenters from fifth gear used to work on top gear, then the channel decided to stop topgear and they all went over to another channel and called it fifth gear, apart from clarkson, who was doing videos n stuff, then clarkson came back and started the brilliant topgear again on the old channel, topgear is 100% better than fifth gear!

Top Gear has a waaay bigger budget. But I do love Top Gear way more than Fifth Gear, however Im also just stating the facts.
