@yakataah Yeah Gay Pride is a joke. Gay pride is nothing more then freaky circus act of shoving your sexuality down others throats. Its like walking into a room of people. And summarily demanding attentionn and praise because your gay. I simple dont care about gays. I'm just tired of hearing about how gay the gay movement is
@AntagonisticEnemy This comment alone tells me everything I need to know about you and your stance in equality. You don't truly believe in it, do you?
If I actually cared Enough to look back on and correct your own spelling and grammar errors. This would get old pretty damn quickly. But if it makes you feel better to point out my spelling mistakes. Instead of actually debating the logic well more power to you. Yes I stand for true equality and its not yours
@AntagonisticEnemy You clearly don't and it's sad that I have explain why. Maybe you should look up the meaning of "equality" in the dictionary before coming here. You should be able to discover that it does not mean "everyone else is inferior to me".
@yakataah What do not pass go there dear. Oh very clever calling me the bigot. Oh Dear you have turn the tables on me. Calling out my truly ((supposedly)) bigoted view on your bigoted. Once again that simple must take evey ounce of your intellect to do. Where is your proof of your claim
@AntagonisticEnemy My proof? That you clearly misunderstand Gay Pride from its very conception. You don't have to be supportive of gays to understand what Gay Pride stands for.
If you cannot grasp something as simple as Gay Pride because your mind is too narrow, who can expect you to comprehend feminism?
You don't understand it, therefore it scares you, so you attack it. Don't worry, honey, you have nothing to fear from feminists. They're not going to come at night to cut your dick off.
@yakataah Well clearly that was in reference the that poor man who had his dick cut off by his wife in his sleep. And then was laughed at on national television. Gays rights is not something to understand because is meaningless utterly devoid movement. That is nothing but a look at me, I'm so gay I'm special. No dear its simple all the movements are self entitlement that destory others for special rights
FEMINISM IS ABOUT EQUALITY BETWEEN THE SEXES!!! ahh needed to get that of my chest. why do people belive the MYTHS about feminism. you said your for equality wellthen your a feminist easy:D dont believe were all bad 99 percent of feminists are not the crazy ones you sometimes hear about. the a vocal majority. all feminists i know are just normal FUNNY people(men and women) we dont hate men or are al lesbians with hairy legs. 'well maybe slightly hairy in winter lol'
1.Take any sentence made by a feminist that involves the word man.
2. Replace the word man with the word jew.
All of the sudden it sounds kind of racist right?
Feminism is not about equal rights anymore, its about demonizing men and promoting women regardless of their individual actions through hate propaganda.
Same methods as religious fundamentalism or any dictatorship of the past.
I am a feminist because I think women should be allowed to go to school, to chose a man they want, a job they want and to have a say in political manners and they should have a right to discover and to enjoy their sexuality... I know... women are evil, arent' we? men hating women have their own personal reason why they hate men, you do not need to be a feminist to hate men. it is easy to hate a man, if he is abusing, lazy, aggressive, arrogant, cruel or a macho.
@trekkicat Equally, it's easy to hate a woman and one doesn't need to be a men's rights activist to do so. It's easy to hate a woman if she is abusive, lazy, aggressive, arrogant, cruel, a bitch, among other things.
@trekkicat what? women are not allowed to go to school? women can not choose a man they want? women can not have a job they want? women can not have a say in political manners? ....Where the hell do you live?? Iran? Pakistan?
and...that "it is easy to hate a man" comment...well...typical! loool
If you believe feminism is unequal because it's female-centric, how can you argue that the men's right's movement doesn't have the exact same problem? If you argue that we need men's rights to help undo the unnatural imbalance feminism has caused, how is that not also "equality of outcome"? Has it occurred to you that before feminism, many women might have felt similarly?
I appreciate your literal take on the meaning of 'feminism'--it's taken a long time to reveal f-ism as a bullshit ideology created by the same assholes who gave us feudal capitalism and despotic communism. I'm glad there articulate men like you out there to voice opposition to a movement as awful as feminism--there is nothing feminine about it--mainly just a bunch of man-hating brainwashed fake lesbos the kind of people who'd follow Hitler if he promised them a managerial position. F'ism SUX.
feminist are as much a danger to the world and have the same author as islam. Funny both these evil beliefs systems are supported and stood up for by left wing, political correct fools in western society.
No group can exclusively advocate for the interests of their group and arrive at "equality" with all others. Many groups have already tried and failed terribly: Nazis, KKK, Catholics, Muslims, Zionists, etc.
i know an asian who studies medicine in canada. asians are more motivated and work harder than white women, so if people were selected on the basis of their own merits, most doctors would be asian. however, there are regulations which say there must be certain numbers of different groups of people, so that equality of outcome is achieved and doctors are representative of the population. thus, entry standards are HIGHER for asians than white women.
The name is borne out of history and thus should be regarded within history context. The INTENT is much more logical than simply the name. The intent was never bigoted, or meant to demean or exclude men. Does mankind not also mean women as well? I am male, and I consider myself a Feminist. Again, I say that is a semantic argument and it is only trotted out by those who have something against Feminism. You could call it Chocolate Rainbow Icecream-ism, and you'd still find something to say.
@Dyakki I have already taken in consideration the historical contex. Yet we have past that and nowadays it is bigotted since by name already implyes hypocrisy. I explained my position clearly, witch is not only mine. Now if u agree or not fine. But dont to take assumptions on me . That not apprecciated. Finally claiming terminology to be uinportant is rather ignorant or intellectually dishonest. And yes I will complain if someone changed fem. into 'chocolate [...]' cuz that would be a deception.
Well, if you really had taken into consideration the context, why are you still making the argument? Feminism is about as anti-bigoted as you can get. It's about equality and social justice. No where is bigotry implied. To suggest so is just a straw man, really.
@Dyakki 'Feminism is about as anti-bigoted ' then why it keep the obsolete gynocentric identity? so long it does it CANT PER DEFINITION be anit biggotet. I dont even understand your opposition, its a good and happy idea. :-) One name change and it will erase years of hate and all opposition will wanish like magic! Somebody is against and nobody knows why.
So you're still nit-picking over the name? Fine. Maybe one day it WILL change, but this doesn't change the philosophy behind it. That is what I care about. Also, if you knew anything, the name behind it does not assert any sort of 'gynocentry.' Feminism is mainly focused on women's issues, but because feminism seeks gender equality, some feminists argue that men's liberation is therefore a necessary part of feminism, and that men are also harmed by sexism and gender roles.
@Dyakki no im not, u r discussing this and somehow it offends u. The name, is gynocentric because it stresses one gender as u also say, womens movement. Since feminism is trying to move away from women only to also encompass men (patriarchy harms men to) the name becomes obsolete. mens right movement, is there actually to balance the situation out. Since there r awareness on women but not on men. Slowly they r gaining ground. MRA's r unpopular, but they only imitate feminist activist.
Unlike the deluded little world in your head, in real life not all women are sluts who want an easy free-life pass.
And the cheating thing is such bullshit. First of all, many studies have proven that men are more likely to cheat and second, cheating IS grounds for divorce regardless of the guilty party.
And no, most women don't get divorced because they want money, they get divorced because they no longer can stand living in the same house with such jackasses such as yourself.
PS: Feminism only "breaks up families " when the man was a such a huge jackass that there was no choice but to leave the bastard. In which case I don't think it was a real family to begin with.
Facts please? Men are more prone to violence, period, haven't you ever heard of testosterone?
I think you are taking a few outlying facts of statistics and pretending they are representative of the population in general.
And the rest of your paragraph is a big load of bullshit. Feminism was made because women were tired of not being taken seriously by shits like you. I'm a feminist so the police won't dismiss my sister if she gets raped.
@yakataah WTF? a rape is a RAPE, no matter if a victim is a man or a woman, in fact women got a little easier in that...if some woman pinch a man's ass there's 90% of probability that the gentleman will smile, or just simply ignore her...if some man pinch a woman's ass...there's a high probability he would have some problems in court...what i mean to say is, don't worry, if your sister gets raped (i hope NOT) police will not dismiss her...she will have more help than a man in the same situation!
@RubasJLeone You're right in saying that men have it worse than women when it comes to reporting rape (and in case you didn't know, feminism is AGAINST that). But the fact is that the police are not very likely to take rape cases in general seriously because they are hard to prosecute. It's hard to get a conviction, so in most cases the police will not even bother to investigate unless it becomes a major media circus like Kitty Genovese. As a feminist I try to change that.
@yakataah i understand that! but i agree that's hard to prosecute, mainly because of many many cases of FALSE rape...do you ever heard of the history of the man that is always shouting "HELP ME! HELP ME!" and one day when he is in real danger and no one takes it serious? i think that is what's happening to rape cases...some women pushed the "HELP ME!" button so much times, that now the simple fact they push the button is not taken so serious like it should...yes, i know it sucks
@RubasJLeone I'm not sure what do you mean by cases of false rape. Maybe you mean sexual assault, when a woman is harassed but there is no penetration involved? Because those are harder to prove and easier to fake, so I would see your point there.
But not with actual rape.
Real rape is massively under-reported, partly because authorities do not deal with it correctly in most cases.
If someone was asking for help, the police should react regardless of the gender!
@yakataah you say feminism fights for men's right when it comes to rape reporting...maybe just 1% of feminists...cause it's not the first time feminist groups "attack" men's shelters, and other men rights groups....
@RubasJLeone I think that's your perception. Nearly all the feminists that I have met and worked with are 100% for equality for both genders. Most do not really care about men's rights groups, but I do not know of anyone who would actually ATTACK them. I assume you mean verbally?
@yakataah Nearly all the feminists that I have met and worked with are 100% for equality for both genders. Most do not really care about men's rights groups. That statement was not at all oxymoronic statement. A Freudian slip amongst you lies showing what truly you stand for. Most do not really care because they are not supporting equality at all. And you never have dear. You only seek special treatment at cost to the other gender
@yakataah oh...and about you saying "men are more prone to violence"...maybe, but most of the times women can be 10x more cruel than men...haven't you ever heard of hysteria?
@RubasJLeone Of course I've heard of hysteria. Everybody who has taken an introductory course is psychology, or heck anybody who has read a little knows that it's a condition women used to be diagnosed with in the 20th century that has been since been largely dismissed by the scientific community.
@RubasJLeone Warn me of what exactly? That there are stupid people these days that trust scientific "facts" that are over a hundred years too old? I knew that the day someone told me there's scientific proof that the soul weighs exactly 21 grams.
@yakataah wow, hold on, calm down a little...no one was insulting you, so don't insult me...respect is required for both genders! that's a matter of "equality", something that you feminists love to talk about right??
yes, when someone talks about "men's rights"...feminist don't like it...didn't you never noticed that fact? do feminists know that men have as much problems as women have? in some cases most...correct if i'm wrong but i think both men and women have some really hard times in live
@RubasJLeone When did I insult you? When I said that the people who believe in outdated "facts" are stupid? I just don't think it's very smart to use disproved "facts" in arguments. I'm encouraging you to find better examples.
As a feminist, I don't mind talking about men's rights. But I thoroughly dislike it when men pretend their problems compare to those of women. We have different problems and just because you have problems doesn't mean women's issues have been cancelled.
@yakataah As self called feminism you are not fighting at for mens right. Yet you have the nerve to claim otherwise your movement has never stood up for men once. It self entitled arrogant worthless pious hate filled movement. True equality would mean the indiviual who worked more gets the reward for it. Not that one groups gets special rights
@AntagonisticEnemy By your name and by your comment, I'm guessing you either didn't read the conversation I had with RubasJLeone or you're troll. Most likely both.
I'll be short: feminism is not about giving special rights to anyone, it's about leveling the rights so everyone is equal. Just like Black Power is not about giving black people "special" rights, it's about giving them the rights whites already had.
@yakataah Okay are you simple really that stupid to actually believe what you just said. Black power is not about equality no more then the KKK Is. Its in the BLEEPING NAME is NOT ALL RACE POWER is it. Feminism is not about equality at all its in the bleeping name again and in its actions
@yakataah really do not care what you take from this DEAR. I simple just love destorying fools like you. I don't care if you ever realize the idociy of your erronously and simple wrong position. Because then I would lose a source of amusement
@yakataah First is called a spell checker sometimes it correct a word that was right. Sometimes I made a mistake oh dear <.< I think I see the grammer SS outside my house. Really if your grading intelligence on forums post on the internet. Well yeah that is just funny to me. Your no more intelligent then me because your spell check or have the computer do it. I simple do not care enough DEAR
@yakataah So now we know that your arguement has lost all steam and now your digging around frantical. Throwing mud at your opponet. Now for having the response a cavemen would have to thunder I applaud you. Well I mean if your only defense is to venomously and piously attack my spelling well. If it makes you feel better I suppose
No, I already asked you what your argument is and you answered by saying that you love destroying fools. If you want to start a proper debate, I'm ready when you are, SUGAR.
@yakataah Your providing so much sheer amusement dear your priceless. I can not tell you how much you have me laughing. You have yet to actually debate instead resorting to your personal attacks. In a pathetic attempt to save face. Your simple not capable of stringing a coherent argument together. Let alone defending it.
@AntagonisticEnemy I am waiting for YOU to say something coherent to defend your position. So far all I've heard from you are just your ramblings on what you THINK feminism is about.
I clearly stated my opinion on why this is not true and have yet to hear a proper answer. I noticed your spelling and grammar got better. I think you're more hurt than you let on.
Don't worry, my girlfriend finds your tiny, terrified penis adorable. In a comedic sort of way.
But I thoroughly dislike it when men pretend their problems compare to those of women. We have different problems and just because you have problems doesn't mean women's issues have been cancelled. " Another nugget of her true intention is hidden in this statement. She believes men pretend and make up problems. Already dismissing any male issues and sweeping them under the perverbial rug.
When did I say men make up problems? Men have real problems. There are real issues men face that must be solved to achieve equality.
If you had a smidgen of reading comprehension you would notice that I said men's problems and women's problems don't compare. That doesn't mean either set of problems is made up or cancelled out.
@yakataah The backlash is coming dear for your movement. Men and even some females are tiring of your banshees screech's. Your toxic hatemongering and dismissial is going to come back and bite you in your ass. Rightly so Dear. I truly hope you are alive for that. It would make me smile to see you face the hate that you created.
@AntagonisticEnemy Don't worry, I will be here and I will stand for everything I have said. I do not believe I have ever incited hate towards a group in general (and if I have, I regret it and apologize for it).
But I do believe that I won't be facing whatever proverbial shitstorm you imagine. You have some misconceptions; what you believe is feminism is not the feminism I fight for.
Don't call me "dear" please. It's condescending and I already do not like you.
@yakataah So your a self hating male that is actually very funny. No you are inciting hate, But just like a zealot you truly are you blind to it. You have no ability to discern fact or even keep a open mind. You don't like me well that will keep me up at night. Oh wait no nevermind. You just make comments that are so freaking funny if not disturbing
Okay, I'm opening my mind right now. What wisdom does AntagonisticEnemy, otherwise known as the Enlightened One, have to impart? I assume that whatever you have to say will be so amazing that it will change my life forever.
@yakataah Black power is truly trying for racial equality yeah and The KKK are really about hugging every other race. How on this earth did you ever come to that view. Next you will say Nazism and Japanese Imperialism only want to make everyone equal. You are beyond disturbingly delusional, your simple boarding on psychotic
@AntagonisticEnemy Granted, I am not incredibly knowledgeable about EVERYTHING related to black people, but Black Power as a movement is about giving black people the same rights that white people already had.
Nazism as a movement is about making the German nation better through ethnic cleansing. Who would confuse the two? I'm surprised you made the connection.
@AntagonisticEnemy Initially, I was going to draw a parallel to LGBT groups, but you strike me as the sort of fellow who is not very supportive of gays.
@yakataah You do not want true equality, as in you work as hard us dear. You just want to earn more money for doing less then us. . Females did not create this world you live in now. Soaking in your self righteous and self entitlement Your lack of basic empathy is more then enough to condemn you and your entire pious movement. As nothing more then a gender superiotiy complex movement.
@AntagonisticEnemy Stop calling me "dear". You are not close to me in any way, shape or form.
So now you're telling me what *I* want and what I don't want? That's rich. Next you'll be telling me what I think as well, because clearly I'm too stupid to figure it out for myself.
I lack basic empathy? Do you have any proof of that? Or do you just assume all feminists are heartless bitches?
No, feminism is much more than that, but trying to explain it to you is a waste of time
@RubasJLeone I guess SOME feminists have serious problems, but I think it's more of an issue of them focusing on women's issues and leaving other people to fight their own issues. It's kinda hard to fight about EVERY injustice in the world after all.
The radical feminazi's groups like women's shelter workers are going into children's schools and telling them that men are bad, they abuse women? Our children are going to be turned into men/father haters the feminists are trying to brain wash the Innocent . This needs to stop for the sake of the children.
Feminism is a collection of movements aimed at defining, establishing and defending equal political, economic, and social rights and EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN.
Wrong, Feminists view outcome as the holy grail only when it might portray patriarchal dominance. They dismiss outcome when it comes to generalized education, but not when dealing with the mathematical sciences. They use it constantly when speaking about the wage gap myth, but shoo shoo it when someone mentions the institutionalized discrimination inflicted on men in family courts. Yes, I called it a myth.
@Talkingpie100 I was being facetious, perhaps in the wrong context. I was trying to make a point of how most, (not all) women view men. I support the rights of men. I am against women using their children to control men and financially take them to the cleaners. My apologies for using ambiguous sarcasm. It was not appropriate.
If you are a man, who say is a carpenter, and you take on a girl with some skill as your apprentice when none of the other men will out of bias, then one is a feminist.
It's more about a society that is a big boys club only. About civilization being built on the might is right model and to hell with you if your a woman or an animal for slaughter or a little brown kid. I am a man and men complaining about men getting bashed by fem bias seems laughable and pathetic to me. Women can also be turned into might is right followers by men (politician women for example). Try being a man sometime dealing with women, animals and children afraid of men from abuse
@10110101 I think you're taking this a little too far. First of all, the type of Feminism you're talking about is the one about fairness, such as what Christina Sommers espouses and supports. The one we're talking about is the one that allows things like male abuse in public and hundreds of people ignoring it. It's a video and I'll send it to you if you want. It really shows the level of morality people have. Some men are ruthless and cruel towards animals, children, etc. But so are some women.
I don't know what society you live in which is a "big boys club only", but for example, in the UK where the guy making this video seems to be from, at least as many women as men are going to universities and getting well-paid jobs in professions etc. so how does that match your claim that they are being oppressed? As for violence to children, this is perpetrated as least as often by women as by men, though you wouldn't think so from the media and advert campaigns etc.
There is no need for a feminist movement, as long as men acknowledge that women are superior in every way, pay for everything all of the time, pay child support even if they are not the father, take a lower wage so that women can make more for doing less, give the woman their entire paychecks, let women smack them around for the hell of it and then make them chocolate layer cake. Problem solved.
Nature is not fair. If you make a fair system then NATURE will skew the results. Let's reference income- Asians make a lot more than Blacks in the United States- so the "Fair" system looks "Unfair" so then the government steps in to "Unskew" the results.
Do we need a fair system that allows nature's inequities? Or do we need a biased system that counter-acts nature's inequities?
I believe the label "rhetoric' is being misapplied here. I viewed this again twice to be sure but I do not hear anything that qualifies as rhetoric. What I hear is the establishment of a point of view on feminism in which this person is expressing a clear position by submitting proposals with supporting statements and accepted common logic without rhetoric or hyperbole. Definition - rhetoric:
(in writing or speech) the undue use of exaggeration or display; bombast.
Nothing about Feminism here. I see a lot of quote mining of and hand-wringing over some of the inequities in "traditional" male/female relationships. Why not read a few books about the actual topic, instead of posting a mishmash of disparate ideas and passing it off as a critique of Feminism. Every utterance spoken by a woman isn't Feminism. A lot of people are indoctrinated to support the status quo and milk it, and that includes women. Trying to change it is what Feminism is really about.
Your response stems from the notion that he is limited in his awareness of feminism and of his own feelings of current feminist ideology and that he is just "reacting" out of some unmentioned personal vendetta. I think it is immediately apparent that he "gets it" and has clear and articulated feelings about it. I think what bothered you is that he expressed them in a responsible and eloquent manner and you prefer males who disagree with you to be dumb and dispassionate.
Not at all. What bothers me is that he misses the mark. Any rational, free-thinking, modern person would be able to disentangle this rhetoric. He is much less repugnant in his arguments than many in this particular setting, but ultimately still misinformed about the true purpose of Feminist thought. My sex, gender, and sexual orientation and or preference has no bearing on this particular mode of thought.
@Dyakki I find he makes some good points, maybe to much rethoric, but he is right on a lot of things. Since u do not agree tell us why, and not u'r feelings on the subject. thank u.
Mainly, his straw man argument about equality in social terms being 'samness' and general misinterpretations about Feminism. Basically, like most men that make this argument he sees it as something 'dangerous' to men; an attack. In reality, it is an inclusive mode of thought that welcomes men. They only need see the good in and stop rejecting it outright.
@Dyakki its not only men who makes this argument, and actually feminism is to much gynocentric, also by the name. Its hard to me and everybody to see a movement who take the name of a gender (female) can be superpartes. And to most people feminism welcome men as nazism welcome jews. Although this is clearly a exageration there is some lays of truth. Since the femz deny that men can be victim of discriminations and gender based violence.
@Dyakki but yes some of the arguments AE communicate are straw men, but this is still the general perception (and not only by men) so perhaps there is more in this than just a misinterpretation.
So you're saying that this might be a 'general perception' of Feminism, that makes it somehow true? You do realize how much ignorance there is about Feminism, even among women. Considering the resistance out there, I'm not surprised Feminism is misunderstood. The idea is to fix that.
@Dyakki the best way to fix is actually to give it a new name, since it has passed the boysvsgirls fase long time ago. Actually since it is for both genders I dont see any reason at all why it has to keep the gynocentric identity.
That argument is bogged down by semantics. It sounds like arguments against the NAACP because the word "negro" is in there. You are intellegent to know why the name is what it is, yet you chose to ignore this and nitpick. Why?
@Dyakki no, its not "only" about semantic. its about the implications that follows with that label. A label that contradicts the entire notion of gender equality. That actually inspires gender contraposition, and confuses lots of laymen and feminists alike. It is right and ok to confront people to speak for equality while they label themselves as [...] whatever is the reason for the name is irrilevant in the modern contex. never underestimate the importance of the name and what follows.
@Dyakki finally I like to add, feminism have to take a choice. If they r aiming for remove sexism in the society, then they cant limit to women. Educated feminist knows that wery well. And the name change make sense. If they instead chose to only fokus at women, then they are also enemys of MRM because the concern for mens problems remove attention from women (cit: virtually every feminist and blogs) see also the opposition from some fem groups for mens shelters and mens right in general.
Totally untrue. I want you to provide multiple doucments and sources for your statements. Feminism deals with women's issues primarly, but it does not mean it is only FOR women or only speaks to women. Men also play a role in this dynamic. You obviously don't understand anything about Feminism if you're making these claims. Some feminists do rebut many MSM claims, but only on the basis of reason, not hate and bigotry. The doctorine is not anti-male in any way.
@Dyakki I do actually understand feminism, and I know they dont deal only with women, i think u misunderstod my previous commentary. There r also a entire movement inside the femz who deal with Men. But s u just said its mainly women, and here it is were everything fall to ground. Men faces similar (almost) problems but at a different level, so having a movement who claims 2 deal with problems of both gender, but mainly focus on women and with a gynocentric name...actually counterdict the point.
@Dyakki having a gender neutral name, will not only remove all the negative connotations and implications but also speed up the process. It will be more credible. And its not the first time we have name changes, it happens all the time, both movents, political parts ect. So its nothing new. And it will also make it easier to unify forces with mens right groups. So its a win win situation.
I still maintain that the name does not connotate any sort of bigotry what so ever and must be viewed in historical context. I think a change of name would do little to dissuade those so entrenched in their opposition.
@Dyakki im sorry but it does. And I explained my reasons, feminism is a highly bigotted name, it was maybe justifyed at the beginning but not any more. And educated feminist critics will remain, but thats not a bad thing, superficial accusers will go. And it will be easier to propagandate egalitarian (not gynocentric) ideas. Feminism most liberate itself from the gynocentric stigma, so it can pursue real equality. :-)
@Dyakki** it's good to have discrimination against men, especially white men, if you go to buy a car you will discriminate against the shitty cars and only buy the good cars, same with people, men should be dehumazied because they are not good, they are the shitty version of the species that are no longer needed or useful, we don't need men, infact we need to eliminate men because they are hindering our progress, why can't you accept the fact that men are evil** thefutureboom 9 months ago
@Dyakki U say feminism is an inclusive mode of thought that welcomes men. I could post statistics to show the hipocrisy of what u say but I will let u see a post from a different site from a man-hating feminist that debunks all the statements u have posted on this site. To embrace feminismin n part or whole is embracing people like this who call themselves feminists. U cannot b feminist without being sexist period. U cannot b misogynist without being sexist period. See next post.
Thank you very much. I enjoyed this completely. I always have time to hear a responsive point of view. I'm going to reserve commentary on your subject because there was such a generous helping of food for thought that I need time to digest it.
femanists love to LIE and make issues out of things that dont even exist... im in a femanist class, its all a big joke, they act like there being enslaved....
feminism has never been about equality. It is always been about empowering women no matter what the cost, even if it hurts other people. Don't believe feminists lies that feminism is the salvation of all women
Contrary to my beliefs only a year ago, I believe that it is time for the return of anarchy. This country has been the biggest blessing to free man then anything else in history, but with the blessing so came groups like feminism and liberalism. Behind an anomaly which is the USA, women forgot why they need a man in the REAL world outside of the lawyers and bureaucracy. When a man success is measured by the work he puts in, liberals will go back to be being beggars and pickpockets.
.....and women need men outside of lawyers and bureaucracy because.....?
oh ..yes i forgot..because without them..they will get raped or killed or so?..right? so u would be sure that every men would rape women when there wasn`t a law against?...So men are really cruel Retards , just like feminism is tellin`us..?
hmm.. they could live in stonage without men..and today they also can..
oh well ! they need them to produce children....<<is that why they need men?
I believe in welfare - giving money to those who need it - but not affirmative action, which ensures that jobs will be not held by those who are most competent.
Also, the truth is NOT always between two opposing views. It often lies totally outside the little ideological box the media manipulates the public into always thinking within.
amen! thank you for this message, your articulate way of explaining "feminism" and the need for "equality" will greatly aid me in my discussions on the topic
@revolutiongrl Where's my lady privileges to go with your man-rights? Men had rights, women had privileges. Now, men have fewer rights, and women have retained most privileges and gained men's rights and gained additional privileges. Men are truly at a loss.
ArgusEyes, you raise some interesting an valid points that are worth looking into.
However I must argue with you in one issue: you said "feminism does nothing for ME". Well, you are a privileged white male who has enough money to be well fed and go to college.
The reason why I'm a feminist is to fight for the rights of the unfortunate ones. There are girls today in Yemen who are practically sold to marriages to older men, to be raped an mistreated. Feminism fights this actively.
That's great, but I don't really see why someone needs to be a "feminist" to think girls in Yemen being sold in marriage to older men is a bad thing or oppose it; it's just about human rights.
Feminism has a lot of facets, but in a nutshell it's the fight to make sure that women are not abused. If you're against girls being sexually abused; then you support a cause that has feminist roots at the very least.
Feminism started by asserting equality of both sexes. That threatened economic control, Capitalist or Socialist. All those care about is employment and human relationships should be sacrificed to The Economy. Feminists 1970 or so wanted to change that beyond Socialism, for human relationships and values to direct The Economy. So it had to be subverted to promote masculine ideals as superior for women. Feminists are incapable of equal relations with men - they use 'need' instead of 'want'.
I, for one, have never really equated feminism with male bashing. Though there are many feminists who do bash men in general, from what I've seen, that's a rather small minority.
I suppose I am one of those who do not understand exactly what a feminist is. You mention both in your video and in your description that feminism is an ideology. Could you or someone else here explain exactly what that ideology is?
I very much like what you said in this video. Very thought provoking.
its pretty fucking retarded that if i think womyn are better im a bitch, or an extreme feminist. yet if a male thinks hes better its just a guy being a guy. so fuck you i dont care what you think. :]
@sillygabbyx well, perhaps but.....it seems the other way around to me. if a guy likes the way guys do things better in general he is a sexist pig. But women point out the "superior" points of women and are just being "liberated" or "empowered".
@Abobojo mhmm, men an women for the most part are completely equal, but in some cases i find women superior, in the sense of, men couldnt handle child birth. men cant handle the things we have to deal with on a day to day basis. but ya 99.99% equal lmao.
"men cant handle the things we have to deal with on a day to day basis"
So? Women can't handle with what men deal with on a daily basis either. In some ways, men are superior to women as well as women being superior to men in other ways. What's your point?
@sillygabbyx Seriously? So you say a man can't handle some things a woman can do but not the other way around? Do you know how moronic you sound? Why don't you be realistic. Women are not superior, they are equal.
@sillygabbyx sure there is, working extra hour at a job, heavy lift, working out for a long time, protecting the country from foreign invaders at the risk of being killed. a weak ass woman couldn't do any of those things so STFU feminazi. seriously -__-
@sillygabbyx ur the one who needs to be realistic, if women truly could deal with everything a man deals with there would be countries led by women, buildings and bridges build by women and, but as anyone with a brain can see no woman has done any of those things. a womans role is to give birth to children and nurture them. it's been that way for thousands of years. you western whores aren't improving anything with this outdated movement for so called EQUALITY.
@sillygabbyx Even though there is scientific evidence that shows men have the higher tolerance for pain? The child birth myth is exactly that. A myth.
good for you!

AntagonisticEnemy 1 month ago
@AntagonisticEnemy You clearly don't and it's sad that I have explain why. Maybe you should look up the meaning of "equality" in the dictionary before coming here. You should be able to discover that it does not mean "everyone else is inferior to me".

@yakataah What do not pass go there dear. Oh very clever calling me the bigot. Oh Dear you have turn the tables on me. Calling out my truly ((supposedly)) bigoted view on your bigoted. Once again that simple must take evey ounce of your intellect to do. Where is your proof of your claim
AntagonisticEnemy 1 month ago
@AntagonisticEnemy My proof? That you clearly misunderstand Gay Pride from its very conception. You don't have to be supportive of gays to understand what Gay Pride stands for.
If you cannot grasp something as simple as Gay Pride because your mind is too narrow, who can expect you to comprehend feminism?
You don't understand it, therefore it scares you, so you attack it. Don't worry, honey, you have nothing to fear from feminists. They're not going to come at night to cut your dick off.
yakataah 1 month ago
@yakataah Well clearly that was in reference the that poor man who had his dick cut off by his wife in his sleep. And then was laughed at on national television. Gays rights is not something to understand because is meaningless utterly devoid movement. That is nothing but a look at me, I'm so gay I'm special. No dear its simple all the movements are self entitlement that destory others for special rights

Here is an experiment:
1.Take any sentence made by a feminist that involves the word man.
2. Replace the word man with the word jew.
All of the sudden it sounds kind of racist right?
Feminism is not about equal rights anymore, its about demonizing men and promoting women regardless of their individual actions through hate propaganda.
Same methods as religious fundamentalism or any dictatorship of the past.

We treat feminism in the same way we treat racism,
We scrutinize any person for feminist opinion,
We refuse to cooperate with a person with feminist opinions,
We ignore and prevent any action from a feminist.
We defend ourselves together against any feminist attack.
We push back the pendulum to that of which feminism has crossed the line.
BUT WE DO NOT MAKE THE FEMINIST MISTAKE OF ATTACKING THE FEMINIST AFTER DEFEATED, WE ONLY BOYCOTT AND STEP AWAY TOGETHER.
PendulumEffecter 1 month ago
I am a feminist because I think women should be allowed to go to school, to chose a man they want, a job they want and to have a say in political manners and they should have a right to discover and to enjoy their sexuality... I know... women are evil, arent' we? men hating women have their own personal reason why they hate men, you do not need to be a feminist to hate men. it is easy to hate a man, if he is abusing, lazy, aggressive, arrogant, cruel or a macho.
trekkicat 1 month ago
@trekkicat Equally, it's easy to hate a woman and one doesn't need to be a men's rights activist to do so. It's easy to hate a woman if she is abusive, lazy, aggressive, arrogant, cruel, a bitch, among other things.

If you believe feminism is unequal because it's female-centric, how can you argue that the men's right's movement doesn't have the exact same problem? If you argue that we need men's rights to help undo the unnatural imbalance feminism has caused, how is that not also "equality of outcome"? Has it occurred to you that before feminism, many women might have felt similarly?

i know an asian who studies medicine in canada. asians are more motivated and work harder than white women, so if people were selected on the basis of their own merits, most doctors would be asian. however, there are regulations which say there must be certain numbers of different groups of people, so that equality of outcome is achieved and doctors are representative of the population. thus, entry standards are HIGHER for asians than white women.

Dyakki 6 months ago
@Dyakki I have already taken in consideration the historical contex. Yet we have past that and nowadays it is bigotted since by name already implyes hypocrisy. I explained my position clearly, witch is not only mine. Now if u agree or not fine. But dont to take assumptions on me . That not apprecciated. Finally claiming terminology to be uinportant is rather ignorant or intellectually dishonest. And yes I will complain if someone changed fem. into 'chocolate [...]' cuz that would be a deception.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
Well, if you really had taken into consideration the context, why are you still making the argument? Feminism is about as anti-bigoted as you can get. It's about equality and social justice. No where is bigotry implied. To suggest so is just a straw man, really.
Dyakki 6 months ago
@Dyakki 'Feminism is about as anti-bigoted ' then why it keep the obsolete gynocentric identity? so long it does it CANT PER DEFINITION be anit biggotet. I dont even understand your opposition, its a good and happy idea. :-) One name change and it will erase years of hate and all opposition will wanish like magic! Somebody is against and nobody knows why.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
So you're still nit-picking over the name? Fine. Maybe one day it WILL change, but this doesn't change the philosophy behind it. That is what I care about. Also, if you knew anything, the name behind it does not assert any sort of 'gynocentry.' Feminism is mainly focused on women's issues, but because feminism seeks gender equality, some feminists argue that men's liberation is therefore a necessary part of feminism, and that men are also harmed by sexism and gender roles.
Dyakki 6 months ago

And no, most women don't get divorced because they want money, they get divorced because they no longer can stand living in the same house with such jackasses such as yourself.
yakataah 7 months ago
PS: Feminism only "breaks up families " when the man was a such a huge jackass that there was no choice but to leave the bastard. In which case I don't think it was a real family to begin with.
yakataah 7 months ago
@sttruth100
I'm a feminist so the police won't dismiss my sister if she gets raped.
yakataah 7 months ago
@yakataah WTF? a rape is a RAPE, no matter if a victim is a man or a woman, in fact women got a little easier in that...if some woman pinch a man's ass there's 90% of probability that the gentleman will smile, or just simply ignore her...if some man pinch a woman's ass...there's a high probability he would have some problems in court...what i mean to say is, don't worry, if your sister gets raped (i hope NOT) police will not dismiss her...she will have more help than a man in the same situation!
RubasJLeone 1 month ago
@RubasJLeone You're right in saying that men have it worse than women when it comes to reporting rape (and in case you didn't know, feminism is AGAINST that). But the fact is that the police are not very likely to take rape cases in general seriously because they are hard to prosecute. It's hard to get a conviction, so in most cases the police will not even bother to investigate unless it becomes a major media circus like Kitty Genovese. As a feminist I try to change that.
yakataah 1 month ago
@yakataah i understand that! but i agree that's hard to prosecute, mainly because of many many cases of FALSE rape...do you ever heard of the history of the man that is always shouting "HELP ME! HELP ME!" and one day when he is in real danger and no one takes it serious? i think that is what's happening to rape cases...some women pushed the "HELP ME!" button so much times, that now the simple fact they push the button is not taken so serious like it should...yes, i know it sucks
RubasJLeone 1 month ago
@RubasJLeone I'm not sure what do you mean by cases of false rape. Maybe you mean sexual assault, when a woman is harassed but there is no penetration involved? Because those are harder to prove and easier to fake, so I would see your point there.
But not with actual rape.
Real rape is massively under-reported, partly because authorities do not deal with it correctly in most cases.
If someone was asking for help, the police should react regardless of the gender!
yakataah 1 month ago
@yakataah you say feminism fights for men's right when it comes to rape reporting...maybe just 1% of feminists...cause it's not the first time feminist groups "attack" men's shelters, and other men rights groups....
RubasJLeone 1 month ago
@RubasJLeone I think that's your perception. Nearly all the feminists that I have met and worked with are 100% for equality for both genders. Most do not really care about men's rights groups, but I do not know of anyone who would actually ATTACK them. I assume you mean verbally?

Wrong, Feminists view outcome as the holy grail only when it might portray patriarchal dominance. They dismiss outcome when it comes to generalized education, but not when dealing with the mathematical sciences. They use it constantly when speaking about the wage gap myth, but shoo shoo it when someone mentions the institutionalized discrimination inflicted on men in family courts. Yes, I called it a myth.

@Talkingpie100 No problem. :)

@Talkingpie100 I was being facetious, perhaps in the wrong context. I was trying to make a point of how most, (not all) women view men. I support the rights of men. I am against women using their children to control men and financially take them to the cleaners. My apologies for using ambiguous sarcasm. It was not appropriate.
lillie1990am 10 months ago
If you are a man, who say is a carpenter, and you take on a girl with some skill as your apprentice when none of the other men will out of bias, then one is a feminist.
101101101777 10 months ago
It's more about a society that is a big boys club only. About civilization being built on the might is right model and to hell with you if your a woman or an animal for slaughter or a little brown kid. I am a man and men complaining about men getting bashed by fem bias seems laughable and pathetic to me. Women can also be turned into might is right followers by men (politician women for example). Try being a man sometime dealing with women, animals and children afraid of men from abuse
101101101777 10 months ago
@10110101 I think you're taking this a little too far. First of all, the type of Feminism you're talking about is the one about fairness, such as what Christina Sommers espouses and supports. The one we're talking about is the one that allows things like male abuse in public and hundreds of people ignoring it. It's a video and I'll send it to you if you want. It really shows the level of morality people have. Some men are ruthless and cruel towards animals, children, etc. But so are some women.
vgman94 10 months ago
@101101101777
I don't know what society you live in which is a "big boys club only", but for example, in the UK where the guy making this video seems to be from, at least as many women as men are going to universities and getting well-paid jobs in professions etc. so how does that match your claim that they are being oppressed? As for violence to children, this is perpetrated as least as often by women as by men, though you wouldn't think so from the media and advert campaigns etc.
orlando098 7 months ago
There is no need for a feminist movement, as long as men acknowledge that women are superior in every way, pay for everything all of the time, pay child support even if they are not the father, take a lower wage so that women can make more for doing less, give the woman their entire paychecks, let women smack them around for the hell of it and then make them chocolate layer cake. Problem solved.
lillie1990am 10 months ago
Alright, here's the problem with fair systems.

NelsonClick 10 months ago
Nothing about Feminism here. I see a lot of quote mining of and hand-wringing over some of the inequities in "traditional" male/female relationships. Why not read a few books about the actual topic, instead of posting a mishmash of disparate ideas and passing it off as a critique of Feminism. Every utterance spoken by a woman isn't Feminism. A lot of people are indoctrinated to support the status quo and milk it, and that includes women. Trying to change it is what Feminism is really about.
Dyakki 11 months ago
@Dyakki so in other words feminism cant be criticized?
Kenshiroit 11 months ago
In other words, he misses the mark.
Dyakki 10 months ago
@Dyakki He misses the mark is that right, how if I may ask? tell us, how does Argus miss the mark?
Kenshiroit 10 months ago
@Dyakki
NelsonClick 11 months ago
Dyakki 10 months ago
@Dyakki I find he makes some good points, maybe to much rethoric, but he is right on a lot of things. Since u do not agree tell us why, and not u'r feelings on the subject. thank u.
Kenshiroit 10 months ago
Mainly, his straw man argument about equality in social terms being 'samness' and general misinterpretations about Feminism. Basically, like most men that make this argument he sees it as something 'dangerous' to men; an attack. In reality, it is an inclusive mode of thought that welcomes men. They only need see the good in and stop rejecting it outright.
Dyakki 7 months ago
@Dyakki its not only men who makes this argument, and actually feminism is to much gynocentric, also by the name. Its hard to me and everybody to see a movement who take the name of a gender (female) can be superpartes. And to most people feminism welcome men as nazism welcome jews. Although this is clearly a exageration there is some lays of truth. Since the femz deny that men can be victim of discriminations and gender based violence.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
@Dyakki but yes some of the arguments AE communicate are straw men, but this is still the general perception (and not only by men) so perhaps there is more in this than just a misinterpretation.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
So you're saying that this might be a 'general perception' of Feminism, that makes it somehow true? You do realize how much ignorance there is about Feminism, even among women. Considering the resistance out there, I'm not surprised Feminism is misunderstood. The idea is to fix that.
Dyakki 6 months ago
@Dyakki the best way to fix is actually to give it a new name, since it has passed the boysvsgirls fase long time ago. Actually since it is for both genders I dont see any reason at all why it has to keep the gynocentric identity.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
That argument is bogged down by semantics. It sounds like arguments against the NAACP because the word "negro" is in there. You are intellegent to know why the name is what it is, yet you chose to ignore this and nitpick. Why?
Dyakki 6 months ago
@Dyakki no, its not "only" about semantic. its about the implications that follows with that label. A label that contradicts the entire notion of gender equality. That actually inspires gender contraposition, and confuses lots of laymen and feminists alike. It is right and ok to confront people to speak for equality while they label themselves as [...] whatever is the reason for the name is irrilevant in the modern contex. never underestimate the importance of the name and what follows.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
@Dyakki finally I like to add, feminism have to take a choice. If they r aiming for remove sexism in the society, then they cant limit to women. Educated feminist knows that wery well. And the name change make sense. If they instead chose to only fokus at women, then they are also enemys of MRM because the concern for mens problems remove attention from women (cit: virtually every feminist and blogs) see also the opposition from some fem groups for mens shelters and mens right in general.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
Totally untrue. I want you to provide multiple doucments and sources for your statements. Feminism deals with women's issues primarly, but it does not mean it is only FOR women or only speaks to women. Men also play a role in this dynamic. You obviously don't understand anything about Feminism if you're making these claims. Some feminists do rebut many MSM claims, but only on the basis of reason, not hate and bigotry. The doctorine is not anti-male in any way.
Dyakki 6 months ago
@Dyakki I do actually understand feminism, and I know they dont deal only with women, i think u misunderstod my previous commentary. There r also a entire movement inside the femz who deal with Men. But s u just said its mainly women, and here it is were everything fall to ground. Men faces similar (almost) problems but at a different level, so having a movement who claims 2 deal with problems of both gender, but mainly focus on women and with a gynocentric name...actually counterdict the point.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
@Dyakki having a gender neutral name, will not only remove all the negative connotations and implications but also speed up the process. It will be more credible. And its not the first time we have name changes, it happens all the time, both movents, political parts ect. So its nothing new. And it will also make it easier to unify forces with mens right groups. So its a win win situation.
Kenshiroit 6 months ago
I still maintain that the name does not connotate any sort of bigotry what so ever and must be viewed in historical context. I think a change of name would do little to dissuade those so entrenched in their opposition.
Dyakki 6 months ago
@Dyakki im sorry but it does. And I explained my reasons, feminism is a highly bigotted name, it was maybe justifyed at the beginning but not any more. And educated feminist critics will remain, but thats not a bad thing, superficial accusers will go. And it will be easier to propagandate egalitarian (not gynocentric) ideas. Feminism most liberate itself from the gynocentric stigma, so it can pursue real equality. :-)
Kenshiroit 6 months ago

Metal0Lover0of0Doom 11 months ago
I believe in welfare - giving money to those who need it - but not affirmative action, which ensures that jobs will be not held by those who are most competent.
Also, the truth is NOT always between two opposing views. It often lies totally outside the little ideological box the media manipulates the public into always thinking within.

Feminism fights this actively.
yakataah 1 year ago
@yakataah How do you mean "privileged"?

@kev95
I already stated it: you obviously have enough money to be well fed and go to college. You're much better off than millions on this same planet.
yakataah 1 year ago
@yakataah
That's great, but I don't really see why someone needs to be a "feminist" to think girls in Yemen being sold in marriage to older men is a bad thing or oppose it; it's just about human rights.
orlando098 7 months ago
@orlando098

@sillygabbyx well, perhaps but.....it seems the other way around to me. if a guy likes the way guys do things better in general he is a sexist pig. But women point out the "superior" points of women and are just being "liberated" or "empowered".

@sillygabbyx
"men cant handle the things we have to deal with on a day to day basis"
So? Women can't handle with what men deal with on a daily basis either. In some ways, men are superior to women as well as women being superior to men in other ways. What's your point?

sillygabbyx 1 year ago

@sillygabbyx ur the one who needs to be realistic, if women truly could deal with everything a man deals with there would be countries led by women, buildings and bridges build by women and, but as anyone with a brain can see no woman has done any of those things. a womans role is to give birth to children and nurture them. it's been that way for thousands of years. you western whores aren't improving anything with this outdated movement for so called EQUALITY.

@sillygabbyx Even though there is scientific evidence that shows men have the higher tolerance for pain? The child birth myth is exactly that. A myth.
