  • awww, sorry to hear she passed..I can't imagine how I'd feel if my dog passes..I want them to stay forever!! But I know she's an angel playing tricks in heaven with a big smile too :)

  • so smart :) , is this tiki?

  • what did she die from? :/ rip

  • @Ggavin360 Heart failure

  • @CanineSoul 12 seems kind of young for a jrt :/

  • @Ggavin360 Yes, 12 years isn't that much for a JRT. Average life expectancy is 16 year. Unfortunately we can't all be that lucky.

  • Sorry to hear about Tiki. We have two JR's one female short legged and one male long legged. This video inspired me to spend more quality time with my crazy poochies and give them some more tasks by teaching them new tricks. Thanks.

  • Please enjoy yourself in another world. You're such a beautiful and talented dog. You made your owner proud. Rest in peace sweetie.

  • I'm sorry she died. But she's in doggy heaven now! And what a beautiful and sweet baby she is...

  • That dog was absolutely beautiful. And very clever.. and of a respectable age.. I guess you were very proud of her :)) R.I.P..

  • I love the video....Tiki was so smart. I am so so sorry to hear about her passing. I know she is now with our boy Scruff. HUGS to you.....

  • i love my jack russel.shes hilarious and cute and sweet and smart.and annoying too :D

  • Woah! You dig is so cute and super duper smart! I wish my dog will be smart like your dog.

  • i have a jack russell who stay in the house the whole time and i brushs him every 2nd day with a realy good small comb and he shed no hairs now

  • wonderfoul !!!

  • do these dogs shed a lot

  • @I2eQui3m Considering the size of a Jack Russell, he or she obviously doesn't leave as many hairs around the house as, let's say, a Labrador.

But it's still noticeable and compared to the size, I would say Jack Russells shed quite a lot. Especially on the sofa and on clothes you always have some hairs. Tiki likes laying close to people, so I've learned to avoid buying clothes where white dog hairs are very visible ;)

  • @CanineSoul yes i agree about the white hairs getting on clothes as mine does that.

  • @CanineSoul hahaha one cool dude !! i love terriers they take no shit !! love the bit when it barked at you over the nose thing , as if to say "hey dont take the piss" lmao. Nice work !

  • @I2eQui3m

The smooth coats shed the most. But its nothing a lint roller couldn't take care of. The coarser coats have minimal shedding.

  • @I2eQui3m

it depends if they are long or short haired.mine is short haired and yes,she sheds a lot.the hairs geat everywhere, and i didnt want that, but she and they are SO much more worth it for some hairs!

  • @I2eQui3m depends i have two my oldest one does and our new one we bought back in may and he doesnt

  • @I2eQui3m I have a wired haired jack Russel and he does not shed but of course short hairs do fall but are not noticable

  • @I2eQui3m

Mine sheds something awful! But........ No she doesn't shed as bad as my husky!

  • my jacky wont do that. really sweat...!

  • see my new jack russell terrier pup not yet named

  • wooooooow i love jack russels :)

  • Jack Russell is one little dog with a big bark.

  • @Alewyshus they were bred to be vocal since their job was to either flush foxes from their dens or hold them there until they could be dug out during a hunt. The barking also lets the hunters know where to dig.

  • @lola26granola Compare their bark to other dogs of the same size. Jack Russell sounds like a dog. Others sound kinda ratty.

  • @Alewyshus it is true, at least they are not high pitched, but they do tend to bark more than some (less than others) because they were bred to be vocal. I have one and I absolutely love him. He barks quite a bit, but not obsessively like out of boredom or being intimidated easily like a lot of small dogs. I just think it is important to know the history of a dog before you get them so you don't get a hunting dog like a jrt and then get frustrated with the traits that go along with that.

  • your JRT dog is awesome!!

  • Awww. Look at that sweet little doggie! I love JRTs. They're so smart....10 minutes and they know a new trick. Which is good, because that's about as long as they want to pay attention...:-)

  • hes so cute and smart i want one

  • very nice video, im getting a 2month old jack russell today i hope i can teach my dog half the things you've taut yours :)

  • @CanineSoul my jack russel is so funny and so loving. have a look at my video of him drinking from the tap. It comes under Thirsty Jack Russel

  • OMG!! that's sooo cool~! i luv how u did close the door.

  • ma è troooppo bravoo!

  • Very clever little dog.

  • Absolutely wonderful! Great dog. And so cute. :-)

  • im gettig one in a couple of weeks are they easy to train and obidient because we have a 2 year old

  • they are not the easiest dog to train. Their have a strong personality, and sometimes it's hard to train them into what you would like them to be. However, the JRT I known are extremely friendly to kids (lots of patience with kids too!)

My JRT is rather greedy and is highly motivated by treats.

  • @whdhel mine too, he doesn't work for free. That is great that yours is great with kids. Mine is good as long as they are gentle, but in general they are not a dog I would recommend to people who have kids who have not learned to be gentle. Most don't tolerate a lot of the grabbing and pulling that little kids might unwittingly do.

  • did you teach him all of that? how did you do it?

  • Smart little fella! xD You're so lucky to have him.

  • my jrt only knows to liedown and sit.

  • Your little dog is adorable and smart.

Did you take him to any training classes?

  • Jack Russells are easy to train because they like the attention and they love learning and stuff

  • really cute, they are a handful but adorable! He was very well trained!

  • He's so cute and smart!

  • nice dog

  • v cute

  • THIS video is cool. jack russells are so loyal but very mischeveous!!!!!!!!!!! :]

  • good dog...
