First...let me say I come in peace and although a strong supporter of US policy towards Iran, I am still an aviation enthusiest. 2nd, the last plane on display here the Shafaq? That is actually impressive and pretty. The others are of no intrest, but the Shafaq seems to be a little more ambitiouse than the others. Has it hit testing yet? I'd like to see that one in action.

No, it was reported that it should be tested during 2010, and it was to be Irans first homemade 4 generation fighter. Sadly, I doubt that the government lets such programs get any funding because of the political situation right now, funds are delegated elsewhere.

In addition, I thought the "Morghe Ashura" was another project that was Iran's attempt at a 5th generation stealth fighter. I seen another picture of an artist's rendering of the Morghe Ashura, and it was a much larger plane.
