Christianity and Islam were forcefully imposed on africa. they were given the koran and the bible and lossed all they had as a result. These religions of the desert have enslaved the minds of Africas people with their foolish doctrinal thinking. No one questions these ancient outmoded doctrines because they have not valued free thinking and enquiry. africa needs a renaissance, a shift in paradigm. Until Africans seek enlightenment they would always have the same issues.
@ivlfounder Ethiopia has ancient ties to christianity, i concede that to you. Religion has only helped to divide and destroy Africa. As for christ growing up in Egypt; there isn't a shred of evidence for that, historical or otherwise. There may be christians doing some damage control in africa, but their religious doctrine in general has done more harm than good. africa would have been better off embracing traditional beliefs, even if you claim Egypt and link her with christianity.
@blitzgreg1 if you would only turn on your brain, the depth of your delusion would become obvious tou you. You would see through the mist of religion and how it cloud por minds with irrational thought and slows true progress.

@blitzgreg1
No one forced Christianity on the Ethiopians and many converted to Islam for trade reasons.
Since Jesus grew up in Egypt Christianity can be seen as an African religion.
And no one "lossed all they had" cast aside your brain washing and see for yourself the masses that would starve to death if not for Christians.
