I do not want to say big words, but for me this album is really one of the best melodic death metal albums ever. Really wonderful job but unfortunately Slumber was so so much under rated band. It is really unfair.

I only wish that these guys will not stop producing music.

World of Music is really harsh and unfair sometimes with artists that deserve the best.

@TraceurDjDean October Tide maybe? Um, early Anathema, Daylight Dies, Swallow The Sun, ... But I think you should check out Daylight Dies first, they are a bit slower-paced band than Slumber, but more guitar-driven, which is not a bad thing at all. Try Fallen, a relatively unknown band from Norway, or Ikuinen Kaamos, with some black metal influences and more of a scream vocal style, but not a band to miss out on. Also try Kauan and Amber Tears, melodic doom metal bands from Russia.

@TraceurDjDean It is somewhat hard to find bands similar to this one, I still looking for bands alike, Rapture from finland, they are pretty similar, October Tide from sweden, and old Katatonia are for me the closest matchs for a band like this one.

My favourites of all metal bands I've heard is without doubt Swallow the sun, followed by Draconian..but this sounds really promising, great song! :) heard of them before, but never listened to their music..well, going to do that NOW :)

Swallow the Sun is pretty hard to beat. But this band is pretty amazing, definitely more melodic, but not nearly as epic and depressing. STS is king when it comes to writing epically sad riffs. But this band still rules!
