Other countries live better than the U.S. Yes they pay more in taxes but there is less to pay there also. Its embarasing to be in the U.S. and see the way the government treats the people. You can go to Canada right now and get an injury and you will be seen by the doctor at no cost. This might not work in the U.S. though because compared to the other countries, the U.S. is very selfish.

Every other country has Universal Health Care there not all Single Payer systems. With a Government only Health Care program. Which is what Thom Hartman is arguing for. They all have they're own systems.

Between the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical industry... they're robbing this country blind and ensuring the downfall of our future generations! Large businesses do NOT want individuals and small start-ups to be able to create competitive businesses. That's why they like our immoral status quo health unsurance non-system....so everyone HAS TO work for large corporations, or die. If their health insurance costs get too high, they can take their jobs elsewhere. There is no "Good of the Whole" figured in their equation.

Here's the bottom line: This is no different than how Hitler's "era of austerity" began. It's a plan to weed out the "useless eaters". It's about what your life is worth to the govt. while they give trillions to the banksters. Repairing your grandmother's broken hip isn't cost effective. lifetime insulin and care for diabetics isn't cost effective. Treating cancer patients that might not recover isn't cost effective. This is a move to Nazi Eugenics, pure and simple. Read your history.
