this was one of the best christmas albums of all time!

they still sell it every year in stores. i was at wal-mart yesterday shopping and there it was in the christmas music section!

what's good is good, and that doesnt change after 20 years, 50 years, or a 100.

When I was younger, my family and I would play Kenny Roger's entire album every year while we decorated the tree and put up decorations. We did this tradition ever single year. :)

My mom went to be with teh lord in june 19,2008... her and i always listen to kenny rogers and christmas isn t the same without her or my dad...i have 3 beautiful daugheters and grandchildren and i thank god for them....christmas is about family and friends and memories and noone can take that away everyone have a blessed christmas and cherish ur parents and family and friends

This song reminds me of my Collie (Samantha) she and I would sit and listen to this song every Christmas. My first wife left me with two girl and the dog, and of course the girls had their friends but I really didn't have any close friends. So the dog would keep me company on those lonely nights. I had to put her down and I still cry every time I hear this song around Christmas time. I love her, I want her, I need her, I miss her, I love her!!! I know shes in heaven waiting for me.

@crm50100 I understand completely, I had a Doberman (Princess) who was given to me by my dad as a puppy for Christmas when I was 13,she was my best friend and my whole world.Sadly she passed away suddenly 4 years later 3 weeks before Christmas...I was crushed and the first song that came on the radio was Christmas without you.Oh boy...this is our song aswell.

@ColborneChiguy My Daughter got me another Collie pup (Cheyenne) 2 years after Samantha. She got tired of seeing me cry at Christmas time listening to this song. She was a great companion too, but I lost her last year just after Christmas to the parvo virus and now my heart ache's again this Christmas. I want a new pup this Christmas but I don't have my own place anymore. Maybe I can get one next year when things are hopefully better for me. Thanks for your reply and have a great Christmas.

@ColborneChiguy Samantha was so smart, I never will forget that morning I had to put her down. She looked up at me with those sad eyes and seemed to be saying it's time for me to go home. She was 14 years old and couldn't get up because her hips had just give out on her. When the Vet gave her the shot I sat there and held her while she passed on. I took her home and buried her at her favorite spot in the back yard. My oldest daughter still lives there and I visit her often. I still miss her!!!
