In the middle of 1960's he emigrated to Israel and from that time nothing known about him, may be you know something? (You can hear his playing in "O Lubvi i druzhbe')

Are you sure he emigrated to Israel? I believe he lived and died in Tallinn, sometime in mid or later 1990s.

Sokolsky lived not in Tallinn, but in Riga.

It is sheet notes of 1924 printed in Kief, if youn like i can send you the sheet, you can play it.

I well know another Kagan, Simon Kagan was isabella Yurjeva's accompanist. He was really a brilliant pianist, and it was amazing fact: one part of the audience went to the concerts to hear Yurjeva and another part to hear the playing of Simon Kagan.

Isn't it our Polish (of Jewish origin) composer Jakob Kagan...? That would be fantastic; he composed many hits in Poland before the war.
