I have learned more about unit vectors in the past 20 minutes than I have in 2 months of class! They make sense and it's very very very cool how you can see the straight line horizontal motion and the parabolic vertical motion in one equation. It never clicked before. Great job!
nice vid, learned a lot. i got a physics prodject about this and i just wonder how i would do this if i were to put air resistance in consideration? it would be a negative x vector, but how does it fit in the first equation you typed in
The video is very much appreciated, you might have already noticed but when you punched numbers in the calculator at the end, you accidently put 191.7 when the value is actually 181.7 (it's the number in the bright yellow color), the conclusion is still the same but the value changes from 14.5 to 25.5, still doesn't clear the fence =)
I am very happy to see the vidoe Let's see if the ball can clear the wall after you give this

i love how he cant read his own writing and uses 191 instead of 181, but its still right

Amazing explanation, thank you so much! You should have done a part 3 where you found out where and when the ball will come to rest.

As was said, Sal accidently read his number wrong. That's ok though. I was able to spot it because he taught the concept well.

(P(x)=Pi+Vi+(at^2):2)?

correction: (P(t) not P(x), so this makes (P(t)=Pi+Vi+(at^2):2)

Yeah you're right Reaver I noticed that too. It's 181.7 :)
great vid though ufffff i learned a lot. I might as well skip class and watch your math vids! It's too sick.
keep it up!
