  • yea... um... camshafts???? maybe the video... if your asking about the rough idle its the cams... and the metal sound?? prob the combination of headers and cams... there is nothing wrong with this ... it sounds GREAT dude...

  • loll if the valve were knocking on the piston the car would stop after 30 secondes what you here '' the metal sound '' are coming from the exhaust ''drone '' that's it these cam are bolt on cam , wich mean they can run whitout notching the piston.

  • Do not get shorty headers they flow the same as stock on these cars. Go for longtubes but only if youre willing to mess around with emissions and such.

  • cant mess with emissions... -.-....lol and i have a shelby gt....so my car is lowered by shelby and i live in Pa.....so lower clearance due to longtubes would be bad....

  • ouch yeah uh then If youre still really bent on the shorties check out kooks i know theyre some of the best stuff around. maybe running a better mid pipe with some race cats would be good too.

  • The front chin spoiler comes from the California special package, not a stock GT.

NA cars see a benefit but most TS or turbo car owners say the 700.00 is better spent elsewhere. It does sound nice. I plan to get Comps VSR Blower cams.

  • you talkin about the cam timing? cuz then yes nomatter what you do as far as cams youll have vct you will have to LIMIT them but they still are variable. some cams use lockouts some limiters.

  • actually they are similar to frpp and afr heads but you cant buy them anywhere... i had a guy i know do the majority of the work to the heads.

    i weant with shorties because it adds a tid more back pressure than LTs... other than bp there really are NOT any dif between other than sound. hp gains are about the same as lt's torque is about the same as lt's too... why pay double for something i already can get with shorties?
