@AustinTillman1992 This isnt based on witchcraft, these creatures are from the old myths and religions, you can google all of the names of the "Demons" and find what they are. They just used the name Demon to generalize what the creatures are, and then assign a "species" (For a lack of a better word) to them. AND most of all WE ARE NOT ALL CHRISTIAN.

try this

right click "my computer" then go to properties. Then go to "advanced" then "settings" on "Performance". Go to "Advanced" in "Performance Settings" and on "Virtual Memory" click "Change" and change it to a higher MB.

P.S.- How'd you lose 7GBs? The game was only 1.5 GB...

i wish that was true but, we have a major problem: my computer just crashed, it turns out shin megami tensei is the cause, and now i am missing several gb of memory (i deleted it and i am missing several gb of memory) and i am forced to do a system check, hell, i can't even install my MAME system. all that stuff you told me, well, it was not true at all. if the system check finds a virus, my mom and dad will be furious. i don't know how it worked for your computer, but it messed up mine. sorry.

Yes and no. Cerberus (for example) pretty much appears in every single game of the series (and like most of the other games, you can get him SUPER early, yay for your pet dog (for those who played the one on the SNES))

Not 100% true. Imagine uses the term 'demon' (since it is based in the events between Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2) (this can be proved in the intro movie after Act 0). Second, Cerberus isn't your first demon, it's actually a Pixie (you need the Pixie's wings to make the stuff to fix Cerberus' wounds). Third, he IS 'weakened' from a scripted event (Wounded type), but despite being lvl 1 and can almost BARELY level up, he has about the same attack power as a lvl 20.

Good game, been playing it for 3 days.

Lvl 24 now, in a clan, and whats really fun is the acts(like quests) you do acts in the storyline.

You can also get expertise in demon summoning or weapon knowledge or, attack, shot(for guns) and other things. In acts, you kill things, go through instances and if your friend is in a party, they can join you in huge battles.

If yur gonna play this, and get to lvl 25, don't solo the DB test(act 7)...

Get 4 friends or find a lvl 40 - 50+ to help you..trust me

For all of you saying this is like Poke'mon, stop. It is nothing like Pokemon, nothing likeYu-Gi-Oh or anything you are referring to.

First, the SMT series orriginated long before Pokemon. Pokemon came arround in 1995, while SMT started in 1992.

you don't "Catch" demons, you befriend them, and allow them to fight by your side. And in this instalment, allow them to stay inside your COMP.

SMT is far more mature and dark than Poke'mon. (Most SMT games have been rated M)

Agreed. It should also be noted that everything that has to do with befriending/taming/catching monsters, demons or youkai wasn't ripped off from Pokemon. It's an idea based off of a common fantasy where you can control powerful otherworldly creatures, and Megaten takes that concept and makes it into something much more complex and dark.

This game is great, the battle system is full of stuff, you can act quickly in the battle and turn over the enemy, making the battles really interesting. But the commands are very simple, so is the logic, what makes the game easier to play. I decided to make my own mage, and it's very nice the way you choos how to develop your abilities. Just the best! ;)
