  • free time is a beautiful thing

  • very cold + hot = Very very cold

Its the same if you stay in the snow for long time and come home and dip your legs in slightly warm water. you feel a burning sensation.

  • i got two questions

why did water bottles just freeze up in iraq with 100 degrees weather??

and was with the water bottle floating in 0:13??

  • @cathlic2007 Read description, and I think the bottle is connected to the door somehow.

  • Next try Super heated water, it's even more fun.

  • I love that system you have with the water bottle to keep the door closed lol

  • WITCH CRAFT!!

    nope just Chuck Testa.

  • damn that some pure water

  • That's awesome!

  • it has something to do with the temperature its being stored at. then when it is removed to a different temperature(outside i guess) it then freezes. this has happened to me at home too. we had a case of water bottles sitting outside and i brought one into the house and it started to freeze. interesting

  • What the fuck! That's against nature.

  • MIND FUCK.

  • i still dont get this someone plz explain this to me!

  • At least you know that you have some high quality water right there!

  • I'd want to drink my water in the hot desert, not waiting for it to melt.

  • ARE YOU LIKE JESUS PR SOMETHING

  • lolol

  • anyone notice the floating bottle at 00:13 ??

  • @kvanio it's a pulley to keep the door closed, got the same setup with a piece of metal in my shed

  • @kvanio It so t at t e do r d n't o cci d t, and it isn't floating its connected to the door with a string.

  • @kvanio keeps door closed my guess

  • @kvanio easy way too keep a door without a latch closed.

  • @kvanio It was a weight to automatically close the door

  • @kvanio my dad uses the same rigg, the weight pulls the string that makes the door close

  • @kvanio Thats the automatic door closer, things are a little simpler there.

  • @kvanio thats to pull the door close

  • @kvanio its not floating look closer is on a string to hold the door shut

    used as a counter weight

  • @kvanio Its a doorcloser, you dumb fuck.

  • @kvanio its hooked to a string so the door will close itself

  • @kvanio Way to demonstrate your stupidity. I know you've probably had 30000 people tell you this, but evaluate a situation before making remarks about some "floating object" in a video.

  • the explanation that you give credit to in the description is wrong and even horribly worded while wrong. water expands when it freezes, this is different than other liquids and is due to hydrogen bonding. when you have water at or below its freezing temperature under pressure, removing pressure allows for expansion, freezing. the heat increase causes a micro pressure release that allows for freezing, this is an exothermic process and proceeds throughout the liquid.

  • There water has no chemicals , aka they care for there peoples health . unlike america this wound be hard to do because theres chemicals added to are water to so called help our teeth ..

  • You should put an insect or something in there :>o

  • how the fuck is that water bottle floating

  • @EcLiPsE1279 it looks like they used the water bottle as a weight to shut the door.. theres a string tied to it

  • The reason for that is because of kinetic energy. Once the water hits near freezing point, the atoms only need a bit of a vibration to completely freeze. The extreme change in temperature probably had the atoms vibrating even quicker to cause the effect. You could most definitely do it at home, and the water doesn't even have to be pure. (Here's a trick: do the same with a bottle of beer, then bet your friend to a drinking contest. Tap bottles to begin the contest and he loses a sucker bet.)

  • @Fragacide kinetic energy on a quantum level, average kinetic energy of the water molecule. more accurate is to say vibrational excitation by the infrared wavelengths of sunlight. this can help but the pressure release is what really allows for and drives the initial freeze that travels through the liquid as a entropy driven process, freezing is exothermic and allows for the water to decrease in entropy still obeying the laws of thermodynamics: dSuniverse>0 for all spontaneous processes

  • What's with the water bottle on a pulley attached to the door?

    Makeshift alarm or something?

    @lifeseyesfilms

  • @superstormj so that when the door is opened' it pulls it shut from the weight of the bottle by the looks of it.

  • Semper Fi, Devil Dogs.

  • that same thing hapened with my corona whe i pulled it out of the freezer. and poped it open.

  • @tdaonline there's another reason for what happened to your Corona: when you popped it open gas escaped from your drink which made the freezing point of your drink go higher than it's temperature causing it to freeze

(the pressure release also helped making the freezing point go up) you can do this with any drink that contains dissolved gasses like coke

  • Naaah... :D Was doing this experiment on the High school.. booring :D

  • thats in kuwait >>>>

  • @abhab0

No, that is Ar Ramadi, Iraq. I know, because I was the one running the camera. Good guess though.

  • @LifesEyesFilms No he knows that because of the brand of the water .. its a Kuwaiti water .

  • @LifesEyesFilms haha I also thought that was filmed in Kuwait, because of the water bottle company, which is a famous local water company in Kuwait that doesn't export any goods to other countries.

  • @LifesEyesFilms

    Thanks for your service Sir

  • @LifesEyesFilms i know why he says kuwait, bc it kuwait those are the water bottles that we were given, in iraq where i was we had clear bottles with no label

  • @abhab0 what a fagot

  • Now thats a way to have an automatically closing door. A bottle of water tied to a door...genius. pure genius

  • I DIDNT KNOW THE MARINES WERE TEACHING WITCH CRAFT NOW!

  • this happens to me with my freezer and pepsi max :D

  • Comment removed

  • Don't be wasting that water...it takes 4.5 years to get half that much water for my cat. I LOOVVVEEEE CAAATTTSSS

  • take that back to mexico and i bet you could get over one million bucks cuz those MEXIES aint seen no frozen water i would make sweet sweet love to that and then i would film it and show it to my freinds at chruch

  • @mrnoah70 @therorocool123 hey its a weight so the door will shut lol.

simple, just put something in the bottle, tie 550 cord around it, and run it over a beam.

    nothing fancy schmancy.

  • So this is what america's marines do in their spare time.

  • super cooled liquid is fun on a bun, even in the desert

  • Was i the only one that noticed the floating water bottle at 0:13

  • @MrNoah70 no me to thts wierd wright

  • very cool trick n i dont understand why so may people arent giving respect to theese people about this trick its easy just get abottle of wate, put it in the frideg 4 1:30 hours and then shake it its easy n I PRAY FOR ALL OF THE TROOPS THERE :D

  • I found out about this on accident. 2 winters ago we left some water out on the porch, some were frozen the next day and some were not. I grabbed a non-frozen one and one the way back in, I dropped it and it turned solid fairly quickly. We proceeded to show people this new trick until everything was frozen. Also, if you use vitamin water you can usually open them, drink some, close them, hit the bottom, and freeze them. It is a really cool effect thanks for posting.

  • @soundmindwar oh and if this is you guys in the video, thanks for your service. Never wanna forget that part :)

  • Got to have some of that iraqi water lol.

  • OK everyone is talking about the freezing water but did anyone else see that bottle float in the air

  • holy shit, my memory is terrible. I had an exam on this very topic not 3 months ago, got a high mark too, but when I saw this video I was completely bewildered until I read the comments.

  • haha i do this at home

  • @NavySeal364 please use your brain on how they have sodium accitate

  • i like the botlle you attached the door to make it close and not stay open lol. very cool

  • 0:12 why did that water bottle float

  • @benry200 is part of the door system so it closes by itself ;)

  • this is what i would do if i was in the military

Soldier: hey its time to go kick some iranian butt

Me: nah... ill juist stay here at base and freeze some water...but have fun!

  • TAKE PURIFIED WATER (FIJI WATER) AND FREEZE IT FOR 3 HOURS...

  • now we know wat the military is focused on good job

    Im just messin around

  • in 0:13 why is the water flying

  • @bobbobzoom3 looks like a string is attached that the bottle goes up as the door is opened....why?..no idea lol

  • @KaiserDragon1113 the water bottle is used as a counterweight to keep the door closed.

  • becarefull with that, u can end the world if u throw that in the ocean u no

  • great trick xD

  • whats with the water bottle attached to the string hanging from the door?

  • lol thx guys for been cool... and our cuntry would say the same

  • um random floating botlle weird did any one else see that

  • Everyone should really know that there IS NO TRICKERY to this. It's just really pure water allowed to cool just below freezing. Because there are no impurities to allow ice crystals to form, the water only freezes when it is disturbed. The process is called "super cooling". It's fairly unusual, but not so uncommon that you couldn't do it at home. Just try it with unopened, high quality, bottled water. No chemicals were added.

  • @LifesEyesFilms

yep agreed it just happened to me i went to have a drink of water only to get slushy ice in my mouth then i had a look at my water it was freezing in front of my eyes it was amazing

  • @LifesEyesFilms Was there any change in pressure inside the bottle (perhaps when it was disturbed)? Also, did the bottle change shape (get larger or smaller)? I know that water is unusual as compared to most other liquids. When it goes from liquid to solid, it gets larger and sometimes breaks the containers they're in. Also, steam (water vapor) can be squeezed into very small spaces (like a boiler) to make work (like spin a turbine). Finally, thanks for the video and your service!

  • @cheesealtar There is no other chemical. All you need to supercool water is salt and water. You mix the salt in then keep it in your freezer (For the time it would take to freeze plain water) then when you disturb the water it will freeze solid.

  • @cheesealtar Its not sodium acetate you cock. Its the air pressure and temperature transition!

  • @cheesealtar FUCK U. you place pure (fiji) or good bottled water in the freezer.dont let it hit something either.

2.freeze for 2.5-3hrs take out then bang against a table

  • @cheesealtar

“Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?”

Learn to english, asshole. Also it's unopened water.

  • thank you for your service

  • whats up with bottle levitation?

  • @carlosvg1986 It's to shut the door lol So that it doesn't stay open.

  • @OkWheresMyMonkey ok first of all he left the water in a freezer undisturbed, it wont freeze at freezing temp unles disturbed, it froze because the molecules were disturbed wich caused a reaction turning it into ice, and its not the sun that did it it was moving the water that did it

  • I bet who ever made this vid is having a hearty laugh

  • can u drink it?

  • @lordbryanz yes, it's just water.

  • @lordbryanz yes, once it thaws... it's just water. Very pure water.

  • wow there a floating bottle at 0:13

  • @cedricb962 even an idiot would know that its tied to the door so when the door opens the bottle falls back down to close the door automatically

  • One thing I wonder...

Why is there a bottle of water, somehow raising up the wall beside the soldier?

Could it be a bullet casing inside the bottle on a thin wall, dragged along by a magnet, or is there something really ***ked up in this video?

  • @aceshigh12321 its on a string attached to a pulley on the door, so the door closes on its own/doesnt blow open

  • My first time in Iraq I grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge and by the time i got it to my mouth it was frozen. Freaked me out.

  • cool

  • Arabic Water: It's cold no matter what.

  • lol. Americans are so stupid.

  • its polymer powder

  • Yup, if you think this is fraud, go do it yourselves and never come back to this video. THIS IS LEGIT, I did this by myself.

  • This is either Supercolled water or sodium accitate

  • @Gunz13andit no sodium accitate, we did it in iraq.

  • im pretty sure all you do is get water to 32 degrees and then disturb it and it freezes or something

  • dam, thats must mean iraq water is mad pure

  • called cristilization its not sodium assitate... 1-turn bottle sideways in freezer 1 hour 30 min for my freezer 2-take it out and put it straight and tap it hard.

  • The water bottle automatic door closer is absolutely genius. 0:12

  • @ucerealb we had those on almost every door in Afghanistan too lol

  • it is not fake you simpleton.

  • it's fake...

  • @oliverjimmy3 this is not fake u idiot its called SUPER FREEZING , where water is right under its freezing point so if it gets disturbed IE: Smacked , it will instantly freeze

  • SUPER COOLED WATER. LOOK IT UP.

  • @soulreaver292 You stupid fucking ignorant fucking cunt!!!! Its basic fucking science, the molecules going from really fucking cold to fucking Hot quick you stupid shit!!!!!!

  • @alexei4323 LOL, that's not even whats happening at all! jesus. nice language too. totally necessary

  • @alexei4323 yea, and you're an uneducated retard :D deal with the unfair life and

you're the kind of person who always fuck his grandma whenever you feel horny.

  • @soulreaver292 your the kind of person who would say that in improper english, dipshit

  • @dinodragon34 lol. usa fails alot.

  • @dinodragon34 Don't you mean the following? : You're, and dip-shit? Proper grammar is proper english, which your sentence seems to have a lack of. Thank you, for wasting the last ten, to fifteen seconds reading this comment.

  • @soulreaver292 ...NOT sodium accitate. My god how does simple stuff such as this get by some people... I've seen this done five or six times just by buying a simple bottled water from a vending machine. NOT ROCKET SCIENCE people> Water DOES this when the conditions are right.

  • @soulreaver292 ur really stupid u put the water in a freezer sideways leave it in there till almost freezing time hit it on something hard or use you hands and the force of the hit will cause the bottle to have a chain reaction and freeze

  • @soulreaver292 it is real you idiot

  • this only works if the water bottle has not been opened yet and is left in the freezer without bumping it or falling over, the atoms become supercooled and when it gets a sharp tap or hit on the bottle, it starts the reaction causing the water to turn to a slush

  • watch supercooled water. its not a computer effect lol.

  • your mom is computerized bullshit

  • @Mrhamburgerable it not try it distiled water is the only way it will work u need no inpuritys or it will be affected keep the bottle closed in the freezzer and dont touch or move it then shake it or superheating is dangerous but ditled water over boiling pont wont boil so u super heat it and drop an ice cube in it and it explodes dont try this at home

  • Sorry to disappoint you, but if I had the software to "create" effects like this, I wouldn't waist it on a video like that. This is the real thing. Super Cooled water. Fairly simple scientific phenomenon. Look it up sometime, you can probably even do it at home.

    Thanks for watching!

  • @LifesEyesFilms You can do the same thing with heat, though it is much more dangerous. Try microwaving a coffee, sometimes it will be beyond boiling, but remain calm. As soon as you stir it, it will flash-boil. Superheated water+supercooled water=I don't know what, lol

  • I like how you confused waste for waist.

  • How does that work?

  • that always happens when i take a cold bottle out of the freezer!!

  • look up supercooling water

  • what's up with the livitating bottle? XD

  • looks like they hung it for some reason xD

  • @retribution2525 itsan automatic door closer

  • they hang it so it pulls the door shut its acts like a spring and closes the door so that you don't have to

  • Thanks!

    And thanks for watching!

  • Wow! Water that freezes in the hot desert sun. How can water freeze in desert heat? Thanx for such science lesson: I love it.

  • r u in the Army or like a person just videoing?

  • Considering this was in Iraq, I believe the army.

  • @yoshimtu do you not know the Marines camis? or the words US Marines on his left breast pocket? haha just an observation

  • Lol yeah, didnt notice it XD

  • United States Marine Corps. Thank you for watching!

  • Yeah, I don't get how some people can't read the right side of your uniform. Besides ACU's look different than Marine uniforms.

  • You're a Marine living in Iraq? My Dad is also a Marine living in Iraq.

  • hey hees got the same last name as me he stole it jk

  • Ut oh!

    Thanks for watching!

  • Just a thing called hot ice

  • no its called supercooled water :D

  • Yup. Thanks...!

  • its not hot ice its supercooled water try it put a unopened bottle of water in the freezer for 3hr take it out and if it waz cooled slow enough hit it against a table and itll freeze into a slusheeee note set freezer to -2 degrees i tryed it with a coke and it wokr on first try

  • Does distilled water not have a distinct disgusting taste compared to spring water? seriously why would you drink that stuff?

  • Well, its very unhealthy to drink distilled water because your bodies natural minerals will leach into the water & leave you with less!

But, it tastes like normal bottled water.

  • sodium acetate How Dont know?

  • no, u can just super cool a water bottle and it has to be completly undistubed and then take it out of the freezer or wherever it is and tap it or something and it will freeze

  • Yeah, what enVme731 said....

thanks for checking it out though...

  • People can't seem to get the idea that A BOTTLE OF WATER ON A STRING CAN CLOSE A DOOR! Stop asking about it. My unborn grandkids could figure that out just from watching the video I don't even have kids yet!

Semper Fi guys good vid, I remember having fun with that in Iraq too.

  • Thank you. People are so spoiled by modern springs and hinges that I think the moving counter weight almost scares them.

    Thanks for watching!

  • i wonder if the war would still be going on when i join the army

  • depends how old u are

  • im 14, 15 in january

  • I dont know.......there will probably a problem with a different country by then

  • yh most likely

  • There's always something somewhere...

    Thanks for watching!
