Me and my brother wondered this after I told him about the stray dog. I told him he might have used to be a person, his reaction to my statement was: "If he was a person, what exactly happened to him?" This got me thinking. What do you think? Might it have to do with one of your other videos: Xavier in the pig trough in the Goat Sisters chapter? I might think that this may be the case. Hope you will make a video about this soon.

As for the drawings themselves, the one stating he comes out at night seems in the most disrepair. Would that mean it was the oldest of the three drawings?

Btw, i wouldn't have ever guessed that was your voice.

Your hypothesis that the front yard chalked words are the oldest seems like a possibility, Masqueradia, and is consistent with my idea that the relative clarity of the drawing, that only shows up later in the game, indicates that it might have been more freshly made.

On the other hand, I think the chalk clarity might possibly only relate to the changing state of Jennifer's memories as she gradually recovers what she has repressed: the massacre memories being especially strongly repressed.

Although Jennifer tells us, in the "Once Upon A Time" chapter, that she now remembers everything, none of the Legend of Stray Dog" drawings can be seen in that chapter, which seems to imply that Jennifer chooses not to think of them.

That might be part of it, but Jennifer also doesn't want to think bad thoughts about Gregory, and "Stray Dog" is not Gregory at his best.

Anyway-- don't you think those objects in the ground next to the first stray dog drawing look like crosses? As in, a cemetery?

I think that the object that is the most forward, in the center (1:25), looks like a representation of a cotton-tailed rabbit with a single long horn on top of its head... and thus a representation of one-horned Peter. Do you see what I mean?

The object to the far left (at 1:25) looks like a fish head to me. Just to the right of it (i.e. second from the left) is something that seems to have a four-leaf clover at the top. I have, on my blog-site, a close-up photo of the object that is second from the right: it appears to be the pipe (with a faucet handle) that Jennifer can use as a weapon during the game. For the close-up photo, see comment #43 on my blog-post of November 14, 2007: "8 Mysterious Objects (and 3 Balcony Ropes)".

I had high resolution as a big priority.

I replaced the first screen-capture hardware and software I used because my results were not as good with them as I wanted.

In the game settings, I put the contrast settings on full and the minimized the noise with the noise filter.

It's important to me that my videos can be used to find and show details that might be clues to the mysteries of Rule of Rose.
