first off that is a spit cover. Back in the old days mics were fragile. Second everyone was forced to lip sink. It was how the censors could make sure you didn't slip in a f-bomb or a political statement. Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and others all did it and hated it. But if you wanted pub. you had to do it. And as for metalica, they never added anything to any cover they did except distortion. I loved them until the black album but really this is the same song metallica with better vocal quality.
