i don't get one thing , some people say that Kirk Hammett uses the Wah pedal too much in solos , but from my point of view , the Wah pedal in Zakk Wylde concerts is never turned off , even in the intro of old Ozzy's song where the Wah is not needed , its always on .

Not my favorite guitar player , just making a point .

I dont like the Deciple guitar. The body should have the fat part on the bottom end. It shoudl be turned around. But I still dont think Ide like it. I dont like his V / SG guitar either. IMO, Zakk should just play his classic bulleyes. I mean, he can bust out the Deciple and Dame's Razor for some tunes. But every time I see him these days, he's either playing that blue Bulleye V /SG or this Graveyard Deciple guitar. Whatever

His voice (both speaking and singing) is different now because for the last two decades, he's been singing the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved his voice on Pride and Glory, Book of Shadows and the early BLS, but he wasn't singing technically correctly, which leads you to sort of lose your voice later on in life if you do it for years and years, which he obviously did.

If you listen to a real virtuoso that uses distortion (Joe Satriani and John Petrucci to name a couple) you will hear every note crystal clear at speed while having a strong sense of melody. Zakk Wylde has no class.
