The people who run our state have done nothing productive besides ligning their own pockets and giving themselves a great benefits package. They sleep in the statehouse instead of earning their money, they give themselves pay increases. Thus the new soda tax was born. They just spend their days dreaming up ideas for new taxes. How kind they are to all of us feeble minded workers. Clearly they know better then all of us simpletons.

He's right. We need a new deal from a new administration and congresspeople who will work for it. We certainly are getting a raw deal now, with all our tax dollars going to Halliburton, KBR and the like, instead of to building and maintaining bridges, roads, schools, parks. A new New Deal will not only dix our infrastructure problems, it will enable the people to feed themselves and pay for their own housing rather than needing handouts or moving to the streets.

Ethan is probably the biggest deusch who walked the face of the earth. His commercials are misleading suggesting by building a windmill he helped lower gas prices by lowering our dependence on foreign oil. The truth is Maine uses 85 percent hydro power from our waterways. Maine is one of the highest taxed states in the union not because we have a low population which some would have you believe but rather a complete lack of leadership in Augusta.Too many welfare programs made these problems.
