The fact is South Azerbaijan is Turkish(Turkic people) and a part of the Republic Azerbaijan. Iran tries to assimilate the Azerbaijan Turks in the South Azerbaijan. Nearly everybody speaks Turkish in Tebriz, you can't contradict this fact. Read about history of the Turkic peoples and you will see the whole world knows that, but only the Iran wants to modify the history and assimilate this people. So therefore Iran helps Armenia and Russia, because they don't want a big Azerbaijan in this region.

I have read history and have never been against Iran where AZERBAIJANI is a STATE LANGUAGE! When IRAN recognizes being AZERBAIJANI NATION! When IRAN is thankful to AZERBAIJANI TURKS - AZERIS for all what they did for IRAN. You are mistaken. You are right ühen you say Azerbaijan in persian means Land of fire. You forget all those Azerbaijani poets who wrote in persian - in persian that is far more beautiful than the persian of the real persians. Azerbaijani Turks played great role in developement of persian language. And the most important: Azerbaijan is the lates version of the word - more ancient version is Aderbaygan - which means "Name of men with noble blood" in Turkic language- today's Azerbaijani.

Tabriz is the capital of south Azarbaijan (occupied by iran) and one of the major trade centers in Middle East. Iran did not occupy Tabriz. Russians took northern Azarbaijan from us, they were supposed to give it back to us after 150 years of drinking it's oil. like England had to give Hong Kong back and they did (to China). Now when the 150 years for Iran was up and we were supposed to get our beloved Azarbaijan back from the bully Russians and communists, our Shah (Pofyuz) was too scared to ask for it back because by now they were under communist rule.
