we recently did this for my show choir for a competittion in Seattle, and it was a blast!!! The only thing is that you're rushing it a bit, and that's okay-we did that a lot too, nearly wore out the piano players to exhaustion. XD other than that, it was wonderful!
I don't think the clapping is too loud. In many cases, clapping in a song really needs to take into account the venue being performed. In a small space the clapping will overwhelm everything because of the echo. Didnt sound like that happened here. Good full sound. Kudos.
I did this in New York at Carnegie Hall for the national youth choir! Definitely had to be one of my favorites(:
