All Nepalese are living in India as per 1950 Indo Nepal friendship treaty which clearly mentions that only those Nepalese who have been living in India prior to 1945 are Indian citizens the rest all are citizens of Nepal. By this yardstick 90% of Nepalese in India or Darjeeling are not citizens of India but citizens of Nepal. Gorkhas or Nepalese are foreigners. Gorkhaland is Nepal, there will never be any Gorkhaland in India.
