I bought this on a bootleg with many other classics years ago in the 90`s, it`s still one of my prized possessions. All VH has to do now that Dave is back in the fold is go back over all this classic stuff, touch it up here and there and release it, they would have a instant classic album that would take the world by storm.

@haywood16 According to Mark Tremonti (ex Creed now with Alter Bridge and buddy of Ed and Wolf), he heard them play the new album and Eddie told him lots of the riffs and tunes came from unreleased stuff from these days. Mark said the new stuff sounded like old Van Halen. The first single should be out soon.

you can find it,i have about 60 VH bootlegs. Two cool ones to look for are "the warner bros" and "van halen demos +77 live".You can find alot of unreleased stuff from those two.

Actually I think this is a Warner Bros demo (not Gene Simmons). In fact you can find a great collection of the Simmons demos on the VH boot "Zero" (has about 10 songs, including a much cleaner version of this one). This is probably my favorite of all the unreleased VH and no way will any of them appear on a new record (too bad).

Love that story.... Same here except my first show was in in 78' at the Medford Oregon Expo Center. Skipped High school and drank Baccardi 151 and Sloe Gin and smoked out before the show. Partied with the Band at Medfords best, the Holiday Inn after the show. At about 3:30 am, after listening to the tape of parts of the show with Dave, Alex, me, and a couple my friends, Eddie pulled the Fire alarm hallway horn and 50 feet of wire, out of the wall and it went off.........

The Dave-era Van Halen has been my favorite band for nearly 29 years now, and every minute has been worth it. My first concert when I was 14 was the 1981 Fair Warning tour in Jackson, Miss. I went to dozens of other concerts after that one, but not one ever measured up, not even the '82 and '84 Van Halen tours, even though they were great, of course. Wow, great vid here. I've never seen some of these pics. Cool.
