Just discovered Libera about two months ago. Starting to catch up with this amazing group of boys. I see a young Michael and Tom in this one. It must be about 4-5 years old. I doubt if anyone knew at the time that these two boys along with Josh, Ed, Liam and Sam with their wonderful voices and personalities would vault Libera into a whole new strata.

Now they are getting older, Michael is no longer performing and Tom has probably left and the other's days are numbered. Sad in a way.

the song was composed specifically for his voice apparently as he can reach exceptionally high notes. he recorded a lot of the backing vocals also.

there is only a debate because in one of the behind the scenes videos, it shows tom with headphones on singing the high "ahhs", but others have said that it is indeed joe platt singing the high "ahhs". Of couse the cherry on the cake is that Joe SW was also known for high notes and could have actually been the one singing that part, however most people agree that it is either tom or Joe Platt.

Joe Sanders-Wilde sang the beginning solo with Tom on "Sempiterna" and he sang the solo with Michael Horncastle on "Libera", so I think he could probably hit it!! I mean, that's like D6 at the end of "Libera" and I know he even sang that solo live!!

Yeah, I just get confused because I'm used to his solo in "Recordare" which isn't high at all! Yeah, it's like Ben Crawley said, "Most boys can go has high as the boys in Libera, they just don't know how to." I'm sure you sound wonderful! I just found out TODAY that I can sing the high part at the beginning of "Wings of Dove"! when I tried singing it before I always cracked, but when I tried earlier I actually hit it! I still sound a bit scratchy though...

Yeah, its pretty confusing! Well, thanks for the support, but I wouldn't bet on it =) Like they say in some of those interviews, foods like milk and cheese coat your throat and aren't good for your voice... So maybe if you don't eat those foods it makes it easier, or something =) I don't know! But I don't think the Libera boys stay away from all those foods... I mean, they did try to order those 24 milkshakes =)
