Don't expect the 10 mph speed on the C&C for much longer, they are preparing to completely replace the track from Rossville to Summerville, so it's back up to 20+ mph.

I wish I would have gone out to the TVRM this year we were in Chattanooga on an NS inspection special I rode from Cinncinatti but hell it rained most of the time there maybee next time if NS lets us run another special down there..I still should have gome oh well..is this the Southern 610 I see in this video

No the Southern #610 is a 2-10-4 that is displayed in Palastine, Texas. This is a former U.S. Army locomotive built in 1952, some 25 years after T&P/S.R. #610.

I definatlly know thats not our 610 we have in Palastine Texas that one belonged to the T&P origionally I am quite fond of that engine its a shame to see what it looks like now little yellow signs all over it telling people what each part is on the engine ..I just thought I read that this engine came from the Southern very interesting an ex US Army loco nice
