mgs5 will be announce this year, and it's not rising or another psp sequel it's gonna be full blown ps3 exclusive, the question is whethier it's gonna be a metal gear remake, where snake cripples gray fox in zanzibar land and supposibly kills big boss, or it's another completely new naked snake game, like mgs3.

I think the FAL is the best gun in cod5. i without doubt love search and destroy with this particular gun. i totally clear the opposing base and next blow them up while i make use of this gun! you guys got the most recent map pack yet? its particularly nice i have just downloaded it on mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) this week myself

we will not see snake in the future timeline of the metal gear timeline, he's dead. However, i have a strong feeling that we haven't seen the end of snake. When kojima decides he wants to add on to the mgs series (which he will, eventually) he will have no choice but to go back, that is why he made portable ops and peace walker. now that peace walker is out, kojima is in the perfect position to create a remake of the original metal gear games, due to the timeline. We WILL see snake again.

The fast aging does make sense, mainly because that plot device has been used many times in movies about cloning. Also, in real life, cloned animals don't live very long and are unable to reproduce. Oh, and Metal Gear Rising is about how Raiden became a cyborg. It takes place between MGS2 and MGS4. Solid Snake will not be a playable character.

Yes, Metal Gear has the longest speechs

of games. Metal Gear never was about 'tactical espionage action', it was about a story. If it isn't about stories, there wouldn't be MGS Snake Eater, which was made for complement the story. And if Snake eater doesn't had existed, there wouldn't be CQC, and many other things in the 'tactical espionage moves'.

If Metal Gear, instead of a game, was a movie, it would make so many success as Star Wars...

personally, being a huge MGS fan i prefer Snake dead. A hero, that goes on and on doesnt make sense and his appeal is lost like mario or sonic. they cant reverse it, at the end of MGS4 he says he has 3 months to live but Big Boss comes and says he has around an year to live, which is still sometime but not alot.

I agree with you, I'm also a MGS fan and I think snake's story had to end.

Honestly I think that his suicide at the end of the 4th game was the perfect ending for the series, after all he is supposed to be the curse of the whole MGS universe. But anyway the end with big boss sitll alive and the message of "you make your own destiny no matter what your genes or memes are" it's very cool too =)

@021music The Story is what makes the Metal Gear Games so amazing, and yes I missed the Solid out on purpose to include the original MSX games and MGA (Ac!d).

I mean some points in these games have far more cutscenes than gameplay, MGS3 has over 3 hours worth of cutscenes. That is longer than any movie ever made (I think) and then add the gameplay onto that, wow.

The PS3 controller and ps3, blu ray discs, ipod, apple laptop all are some of the products that are potrayed in MGS4, considering them being exclusive to Sony, they'll have recreate the cut scenes which is very difficult to bring it to the 360. But considering the PS3 isn't doing well and MGS4 for the 360 is a rumor which still hasn't died since 2006, theres a very likely chance MGS4 will be comin to 360.

I'm in the process of making a slow sort of tear-jerking (:P) tribute myself. I'm only one minute into it so far, but it's crazy to see so many of the same clips that I'm using in my vid. We must really think alike, or maybe it's because those scenes/clip were so powerful, everyone found them inspiring.

With me it would freeze up or play the video but then during the conversion it would slice the amv at a random point of time.

Vegas is definetly good, I use Magix Movie Edit Pro 12 (e-Version) Works for me

I've only used it once though so I don't know what its full potential is. Last time was my Appleseed amv, You can edit down to a 1/10 of a second though^^

you guessed it. I guess Movie Maker has made a name itself. The problem is when put in two clips and then preview them they work fine, i put the third one and start off from the first clip the preview freezes, so i hav no idea what it looks like. I just add clips and chek the last two and I cant preview once im done the whole vid. Its annoying, maybe i'll get Sony Vegas or somethn.

I made my MGS4 trailers tribute using WMM and suffered through the same problem. The delay really screws up the syncing process, I had to publish the entire movie and play it on windows media player every time I added more than one clip. it was so frustrating that I quit the vid in the middle and only went back to finish it six months later out of my stubbornness. I bought a new laptop which came with Vista and WMM2 which does not have this problem,it's pretty neat, though it still has problems.
