Arch angels are armoured yet slow hulks thus beaten by archfiends which are small and fast; in the same breath arch angels beat healeos demson which are middleweight ranged infantry. So it all depends what kind of angel or demon is fightiing. Each form of angel beats a demon type and vise versa.
