@xPorNio Look at their workouts on their website. They only do 12 sets for each workout. For back and biceps they probably do 9 sets for back and 3 sets for biceps.

Now I work out all the muscle groups once a week, I spend an hour more or less, and I am growing. I stopped growing doing 10 sets per body part. If you are skeptical behind the science, than look up Mike Mentzer on youtube.

@LastManStandingggg you probably do a lot of isolation excersises or sets, these guys do only like 3 compund workouts or so cause they consider chest day as working their front shoulders already so all the do on shoulder day i guess is their sides, rears and traps
@LastManStandingggg Its easy do a bunch of pushups and uprightrows and side raises and you all good. Uprightrows are so nice doing the back of the shoulder.
@AF1R carbs and lots of water before a workout will help, also take a pre workout, cause although the twins dont believe in beta alanine , the purpose of it is to help prevent cortisol
I think you guys should have specified how long to spend for each bodytype because I know ectos should spend the least time in there (40 min) but mesos can stay longer for optimal gains.
There are some studies my friend sent to me from pubmed that showed cortisol didn't peak over test until a little over an hour into the workout. Also your gh levels remain higher as well. Plus cortisol is bad however u need it to have the body function properly. I think 30 minutes is too short however 45 sounds right to me.

i agree, but i dont know if this applies to back. ive found myself in the gym for an hour easily just hitting back alone. Back will take the longest, even longer than legs because you can do a few sets of squats, and a few leg presses and your legs may be toast, but you cant do a few pullups, and a few dumbell rows and call that a backworkout.
i used to work out 1.5 hours in the gym didnt see that many gains... after i cut back to lifting for 45min at full force nothing less and 20min cardio at the end i started to see better gains this worked great for me it might be different for all of you other youtubers but they are right in my opinion

I workout 30 minutes to an hour depending on the bodypart but 45 mins is def in the ballpark.
I started out with really short 15 minute full body workouts though and made great gains. You don't even have to think about hour long weight workouts unless you've been lifting awhile. Just workout with strict form that taxes the muscle being worked to failure
I think u shouldn't neglect the small muscles and honestly they can't be counted as a WORKOUT! if u're say 2years into the gym. now you begin to shape ur muscles and workout forearms-calves-abs-lowerback-hipflexors-and other small muscles. you do them after ur main workout, and they won't affect ur energy levels, cuz they're small muscles. I don't say workout chest and biceps for 2 hours cuz honestly, no fucking body can do it :P !! can u count a 10 minit cycling a workout? u're crazy if u do!
you can go up too 2 hours as long as you arent over training, but thast how much franco columbu spent in the gym when he was training for mr. universe (naturally) so its probably better to stick with 1.5 hours or less

I'm wondering. 3 question: 1.Even though cortisol is metabolizing protein, is it breaking down muscle tissue first or is it breaking down the excess protein flowing within the human body? 2. Since cortisol metabolizes fat too, doesn't that help reduce the percentage of body fat too? 3. Does cardio or calisthenics right after the weightlifting time limit also produce cortisol?

i agree, but i dont know if this applies to back. ive found myself in the gym for an hour easily just hitting back alone. Back will take the longest, even longer than legs because you can do a few sets of squats, and a few leg presses and your legs may be toast, but you cant do a few pullups, and a few dumbell rows and call that a backworkout.

i used to work out 1.5 hours in the gym didnt see that many gains... after i cut back to lifting for 45min at full force nothing less and 20min cardio at the end i started to see better gains this worked great for me it might be different for all of you other youtubers but they are right in my opinion

I workout 30 minutes to an hour depending on the bodypart but 45 mins is def in the ballpark.
I started out with really short 15 minute full body workouts though and made great gains. You don't even have to think about hour long weight workouts unless you've been lifting awhile. Just workout with strict form that taxes the muscle being worked to failure

I think u shouldn't neglect the small muscles and honestly they can't be counted as a WORKOUT! if u're say 2years into the gym. now you begin to shape ur muscles and workout forearms-calves-abs-lowerback-hipflexors-and other small muscles. you do them after ur main workout, and they won't affect ur energy levels, cuz they're small muscles. I don't say workout chest and biceps for 2 hours cuz honestly, no fucking body can do it :P !! can u count a 10 minit cycling a workout? u're crazy if u do!

you can go up too 2 hours as long as you arent over training, but thast how much franco columbu spent in the gym when he was training for mr. universe (naturally) so its probably better to stick with 1.5 hours or less

i really think you shouldn't promote not working out as much in the gym especially that most of ur watchers are beginners and are lazy as fuck. i think u guys are one of the few people who train less than 45 minits@ the gym. I also wanna add that from where u got the number 30 minits and u'll produce kortezol. that's fucking B.S right there!! i advice u to watch SHF scott&sean QA ep11, they talked about that.

sorry guys, i'm not going to follow this advice particularly. i'm 21, i workout for about 1.5 hours, for example 5minits warmup, 35 minits of chest, 20minits of something else sometimes shoulders and arms or sometime legs because of my knee injury i'm doing rehab, sometimes even back if i'm going to the beach and i wanna look Even. and after that, 15minits abs, 15 minits cardio.my routines range between 45-100 minits and it's working great i'm 6.4 @ 220pounds 15%BF and i MASTURBATE DAILY !!!!!!
