I might be taking a wild guess on what he might say as part of his "when I was a kid" phrases that he typically says at the beginning of his videos because of how often he constantly prides himself on numerous "virtuous" aspects of his childhood in his future videos, but I won't mention it, because I don't want to give hm any ideas.

Rock's not dead; it's just not mainstream. Where it belongs. And I guess he's never heard of Modest Mouse, The Strokes, Anamanaguchi, etc. and he's never tried looking on sites like CD Baby for independent bands. (He can search artists he likes, and CD Baby will recommend him artists that "sound like" those mainstream artists.)
