  • If your a a citizen of Norway, and you join the armed forces. Does that make you official viking?

  • So is this a real viking ship or just a remake of one? Because I would not think they would want to risk somthing that is 1000 to 1200 years old???

  • The Sea Stallion from Glendalough is a remake of a longship that was found in Roskilde Fjord in Denmark in 1956. The original ship was build in Dublin in Ireland by Norse settlers and therefore the Sea Stallion was sailed to Dublin from the city of Roskilde in 2007 to celebrate its origin. It stayed in Dublin for a year before it was sailed back to Denmark in 2008. Today it can be seen at the Viking Ship Museum of Roskilde in Denmark. In summer and spring it even sails in Roskilde Fjord.

  • @Dusty696969

it's a copy but the original built in Dublin more then 1000 year ago is the biggest viking

    ship to bee found.

We think that Norwegian was bigger but it would bee a miracle if we found some intact after

    example-sea battle Svolder.

This ship found thanks to King Knuth the great that used it as trap in a sea battle

    between Danice Islands

  • aaah the vikings they pillaged raped and settled in ireland
