Jim Beaver is such a talented actor! He always lets Jensen and Jared shine and never tries to "out-act" them or steal their spotlight, but he has always been such a gift to the show and to the Winchester's in general. I'm glad about all the great scenes he got to act in this episode, first of all because i know he can handle it and second of all because Bobby deserves some time to vent too. It can't be hard being around such moody boys all the time!

Jim Beaver has been my dad's best friend since they were kids. He comes and visits us any time he's in Dallas and we went to his house in Studio City a few weeks ago. He's an awesome guy!

Jim actually sounds alot like Bobby.

THere is a differnece when you hear Jensen and Jared talk when they aren't in character, but with Jim I can't hear the difference:D

Yeah Jensen and Jared speak lower or change their voices when they are in the moment and its dramatic.. Jensen sort of lowers his voice.. and Jared I'm not really sure can't place it.. But Bobby you are totally right spot on he sounds the same. :)

Jared 'articulates' his words in character, in normal he speaks very quick like most actors actually.

Jensen has this hint of an accent or something? I don't know, I'm not familiar with American accents and stuff but I guess it's midwestern or something, but yeah it's much more lower (and better sounding:P) than his Jensen-voice

Yeah I mean they are both from Texas. To me they all sound American LOL I'm not that perceptive only in the fact of what i said before that he lowers his voice.. etc. but now that you mention it.. Jensen does have a different not so much dialect.. but they way he presents each word. I'm from California and I hear many accents (like REAL accents) not like hints of it.. I don't reakky know how to explain haha.

But I think I kinda get what you mean :D

There is this specific part in the head of a pin in which he sais something to Castiel like, 'you excpect me to walk through that door.." and when you listen to that and to how he talks in real life, you think 'wow, it doesn't even sound as the same guy'. He really alters it, and that gives the character he portaiys much more 'depth' (watch the pilot for example, they hadn't developed that yet back then and something just misses:D)

Same thing with Misha Collins. He lowers his voice like, two octaves or something when he talks like Castiel, but when he talked like Jimmy, the vessel Castiel possesses, he talked in his normal voice, and it sounds weird. Lol.

You can hear Jared's accent too, usually on specific words but for the most part when he laughs( Hell House, Something Wicked, etc)
