Thats A Really Good Short Film Or Whatever You Wanna Call It Maybe They Will Watch That Nd relize that not everyone in north central is about drungs and crimes nobodys perfect thats a really good filmépowerpoint Northstar. Bye Karissa A Crane 2008
Thanks for the great video. I used to live across from Kitchener school. Everyday I saw young parents walking their children to school. I can remember a young teenager flagging me down when I accidentally dropped some cash. I drove a nice car that was never stolen or vandalized. If I was at home, I wouldn't even lock the door. Proud to say the people in this video were some of my neighbours.
It's really awful that Mcleans was so cold hearted to the people and city of Regina. And never actually went to the city and just gave statistics of high crime rate going on. I wish that people can make more videos on YouTube about the charms about the beautiful city of Regina.
YES!what a great video,i the was the kid that intervied the mayor.
Yes it was long and hard working on this video but we came threw and it became a awsome video.
We also just got nominated to a video awards here in regina. But if we dont win,at least we know that we made a great movie that has alot of thought into it.
PS
Juss to let you know that the mayor is short(no offence)and im not really that tall it just looks like it
this is an amazing vid i used to live in north central regina when i was young so for Mclean's to say something like that about a place grew up in and played as a child is an insult to all that live there and are making a difference great video guys
It hurt when MacLeans published the article, "Canada Worst Neiborhood".I was shocked by the comments that were made, and to add to the insult it was written by someone who never lived here.
I watched this video, I was moved, seeing my son speak for his neiborhood, I have never been more proud. His school mates letting the world know that these allegations will not be tolerated, shows that the youth of North Central are more than dirt poor and dangerous. They are strong, and must be heard.
I really hope that people will really come to a point where things can change in Regina. I live in Vancouver and I never been to Regina but I believe that there are as many caring and friendly people there that can make a difference. Wonderful job and God bless your wonderful city to live in!
Nice video, good work! Its sad that Maclean's was so quick to judge your community and did not take a moment to look at the positive things. Maybe your community does have some problems, but the important thing is that you all do your part to solve them. Maybe in a few years Maclean's will write another article titled "the most improved community in Canada" :)
Keep up the good work! Greetings from Berlin, Germany.
Wow, I didnt think it was that good !! but i guess it was, and its definitaly a winner!! even if we dont win we still made a awesome video and put our effort into this!!
i helped act for this video,i was the one that was interviewing the mayor MR.Patt Fiacco.Oh yeah we entered a two video compition i hope we win becuase we took a long time to make it (WINNER)
