  • If you've been throwing flys into your routine lately, that puts some serious strain on that area. I didn't realize it till it was too late and iv'e totally over trained that area. I even have stretch marks to show for it, haha. Also, bringing in your grip a little on the flat bench can help out.

  • @Siedlerdeo I didn't find it, but I found plenty of other random insensitive comments on his channel. I really don't know what to say about the kid. I knew someone a bit like that, but way more athletic. He said things like that to push people's buttons. I guess we all criticize other people's stances when they criticize ours to justify the legitimacy of our existance. What I don't like is he is trying to sell stuff while preaching how he does this for free, cuz he is out to help.

  • Been there done that with that shoulder pain (rotator cuff pain)...You showing too much love to your 'mirror muscles'. You need to balance your workouts of with upper back exercises... maybe a 2:1 ratio of back/chest exercises.

  • man i got used to on benching on the smith machine and i was repping 180 np then today i went to a different gym to try 135 on flat barbell bench, i thought i was gonna snap my shit up man

  • @mrniceguy3935 that just proves smith machines take a lot of important shit out of the exercise. you don't need to use balancing muscles or stabilize the bar with a smith machine, and those are important so stick to free weights. plus difficulty also varies with the thickness of a bar, even if the bars are the same weight (and smith machine bars are always lighter than olympic)

  • @killerzwad80 I went from 135 max to 135 warmup in like 7 months. Just keep your chest down to 2 weeks of simple movements, press/flys and a week of complex, cable flys, dumbell press, incline press, dips.

  • @getmulah619 When did it start hurting? If it happened after starting some overhead work, or upping the volume on that, it could just be shoulder impingement. That's what happened to me. Once I transitioned to an exercise that doesn't aggravate it, I was cool. The art of training.

  • YOU NEED TO WORK YOUR ROTATOR CUFF!!! The muscle around the ball joint in your shoulder. Very light weight for high reps(30-40) it will burn. I dislocated my shoulder and went through physio therapy and after I could lift a lot more weight on the press.
