@kemp10 Hey that's gender profiling -- I know a lot of men, especially those who work evenings who enjoy the soaps and get just as invovled. But I can't believe ANYONE took Passion with it's witches, and other absurd plots seriously. At first I thought it was going to be a new Dark Shadows, but twenty minutes into the show you could see they were playing things for laughs.
Brilliant music choice in this - 'Pretty Vacant' by the Sex Pistols plays while he's talking about American soaps, a song which uses the same riff as 'I'm So Bored of the USA' by the Clash!
We could sure use a UK-style approach to quality soap programming now that our soaps with their outdated plots and storylines are going down the tubes for good.
