thanks for info on his birthplace. should Kazunori Sawada ever come to Los Angeles, I hope my inbox from say, "The Jazz Bakery" or other L.A. club announces same, so I can hear his artistry in person. stupidly, during the last 3 years though, I forgot to book tickets the last time both Lee Konitz, and Lou Donaldson, were there, 'cause of mess-up in a PC calendar program. I may be getting senile.
