Copyright is considered a serious problem in other countries. If this is so called "cover". At least, they gotta put the name of the writers for those covered songs, but they never do. Like you said it was not a big deal for sharing songs from different countries, but put urself into those who made these songs. Even as students, conveying expert's ideas without quoting or giving the preference are supposed to be plagiarism ( which might either get bad graded or kicked out of school)

There's nothing wrong with covering songs. People cover songs everyday. The problem is when artists don't buy rights AND sell their version on an album or something. That's plagiarism and they can get sued for that. Now I don't know much about Bao Thy so I can't say if she did plagiarize or not.

Most developing countries copy others a lot. At least it's important for the people of the country to be aware of who's copying what and they have to be increasingly strict about copyright infringement as the country fully develops. Getting influence is OK but copying every single thing should be frowned upon.

She does make her own songs but she's bringing popular music to vietnam to where people can understand it. There's nothing wrong with covering songs. People cover songs everyday. The problem is when artists don't buy rights AND sell their version on an album or something. That's plagiarism and they can get sued for that. Now I don't know much about Bao Thy so I can't say if she did plagiarize or not.

Lyrics like these usually don't have any significant meaning because they try so hard to copy a melody that doesn't naturally accompany vietnamese word enunciation. its like they write it just for the sake of covering a song in vietnamese rather than focus on lyrics. to any person who listens to the lyrics, its hella annoying! it sounds bland and meaningless.

She does make her own songs but she's bringing popular music to vietnam to where people can understand it. English songs to vietnamese people who don't speak english are very.... well they don't make sense.. =D no worries. Its just the difference in laws that makes it totally okay to translate songs.

Vietnamese should be original not the followers. Stop copying from korean (hairstyle) and chinese( music). It's an embarassment to the people and country of vietnam. STOP! STOP!

@tvnguyen1976 Actually the Koreans imitated the hair style of the japanese. Most of the countries in asia imitate the japanese and their culture.

I think vietnamese should compose our own songs ans stop copying from the damn chinese. We shouldn't have anything to do with chinese or china. We need to separate ourself from them.

so wat if bao thy copied the songs srsly? shut up u haters she might just want to show how it sounds like it viet so dont be hating on her srsly i think bao thy is quite good at those songs anyways if she didnt there wouldnt be no viet songs to even hear and it would be boring, i dont really care if she coppied it or whatever but i dont want people to think all viet songs r copied whatever! they might just want to show how viet sounds like so stfu haters
