  • where do you recommend going

  • @magicmagician123999 If you're in NC, go to the piles outside the Aurora Fossil Museum. If you're in SC, an easy place to go is the beach on the ashley river just past the Sam Rittenburg Blvd. bridge going into West Ashley from I-26

  • if i go to the edisto river would my chance be 100 0r 50 or 25 percent to find a tooth

  • @magicmagician123999 the first time I went to the edisto I found something but I had years of fossil hunting experience already. if you know what you're doing and the right places to look you have a 100% chance of finding something. if you dont know what you're doing or where to look, its probably closer to 0%

  • Do you have any mackerel shark teeth?

  • @thesmarty1231 yes i have some mackerel shark teeth

  • were did you get those baskets

  • @HomicidalBunnyses Target

  • well i would love to buy a tooth for a cheap price give me the type and price and i may buy it

  • @myrtlebeachshrk sorry i don't have any i want to sell. if you want to buy a nice one, google "lowcountry geologic". have a good one!

  • 2:33 left of the tooth you see a raytooth they are rare shame you threw that one away!

  • @redjeansonyourlegs ray teeth aren't rare here so I only pick up the perfect ones.

  • @blackriverfossils oo ok because i live in cadzand, Netherlands and we only find small teeth max. like 5 cm and not many rayteeth. i love your video's man i want to find those big ones too once:D

  • I hate to sound dumb but here I go.. These are all fossils? Shark teeth I know. Do you only collect or do you sell? Thanks for posting, I love it!

  • @LamokaGhost that's not a dumb question. Yes, they are all fossils. they got on dry land because the ocean used to be much higher than it is now and sharks were swimming around over what is now dry land. excavation, erosion, and other factors exposed the fossils where we can find them. i collect teeth, but I can't keep everything obviously so I sell what I don't want to finance my fossil hunting addiction.

  • @blackriverfossils Nice! Thank you very much for letting me know and for posting your videos! Awesome!

  • @blackriverfossils Thank you for your answer to my question! Have fun!

  • At 1:53 There was a tooth 2 in a half inches to the left. Happy Fossil Hunting!

  • Every time I watch one of your vids I wanna go crawl into a creek and look for huge teeth, then I remember I'm in Montana and the only thing I'm gonna find is an ol' cow tooth. :-) Great stuff man, what a day! Let us know if you're able to ID that big mammal tooth you found.
