@hemingwayscabo El Kit lo vendemos por medio de nuestra pagina, bajo MIA mSR Upgrades. Busca en google, MIA Micro y encontraras nuestra pagina es lo primero que sale. Gracias.
awesome Demonstration...I really like the "Low profile" Landing skid..........Definitely sleek looking. It actually looks like the mSR will handle better!! Nice mod
@TheFlightLog They are done wide to help with static and dynamic stability and allow the heli to land and take off a lot easier than with narrow ones.
@jeffshockey90 The tail rotor blade is the stock one. The rotor blade guard is a MIA Micro-FLIGHT concept called the MIA Delta Tail Guard (TM) and is available via our site. We make it for the Blade SR and for the mSR. Other sizes are in the works.
Hi i just ordered this kit for my msr i love all the products on your website. i like what youve done with the tail motor. Did you twist the whole boom or just the motor mount.
and how did you seperate the pieces mine seem firmly attached. ill be saving my pennies for the 500d fuse for the 120 sr i have. Im glad i found your website because its hard to find stuff for these in new zealand
@dangerdingo69 Thank You. Just the motor mount, it can be angled once you pull it from the socket, I use a bit of hot melt glue o set it in place and makes removal easy, if necessary. Mine came off easy, I don't recommend you do this if you are a beginner and are not familiar with dissassembly of stock product. It is not required, someone asked and I am just sharing this to justify the reason the tail looks a bit angled in flight, please take the angled tail as a slight fine tuning.
@MarioIArguello I would say my skill level is intermeadiate what effect on the flight performance does it have im only looking at small tweaks i can make to maximise performance
@dangerdingo69 performance can be viewed in various ways. If you are looking to maximize flight time, then keep it stock. If you are looking to make the helicopter fly a little faster in forward flight while looking cooler, this kit will certainly assist in that by nature of its design, if you are looking to make the stock heli more robust, then go with a MIA TUFF LG kit.
@dangerdingo69 it makes the tail and cyclic work less in right hand turns. It is almost like having a stronger tail motor, since the angle to the right, as seen from the rear, puts a slight upward force on the tail as it turns and almost forces the tail to turn with a bit of tilt, easier as opossed to the tail being perpendicular to the boom. A bit of experimentation on the user part is required to achieve a flight characteristic that is more in tune with user
@p98CEMJ3289uv9 both justify a particular flying mood. Both are great helis. I like the mCX2 for scale flying, not so much for the dual rotors but for the stability, great for doing a scale MD500E or S300 setup. For sport flying, the mSR is a nice helicopter. If you know how to fly CP already you may want to also look at the mCPX a great tiny 3D capable heli. You maybe already familiar perhaps. Have fun!
Hi Mario, I just ordered my Kit a couple days ago and i cant wait to get it! It looks like in this video the tail motor is kind of slanted, is that just the video or did you do that on purpose?
@jtorr25 yes, slightly slanted to the right, as seen from the tail, this helps a bit with the control of tail and cyclic. It helps keep the nose of the helicopter towards the right, compensates a bit for tail drift. I do this on some helis.
Mario,Great product! I purchased one for my MSR ,and it gives it more stability and foward flight.I look foward to your products for the new Blade 120SR.Thank you also for your customer support.Look foward to using your MD 500 kit on my new CB100 .
Great video, I have been looking at the Mia canopies trying to convince myself my msr would look much better in one :-) Brilliant flying area you have as well!
@scotsoft29 Thank you. The outdoor flying area is great when the weather is calm, otherwise I would trade it for an indoor one where you can fly the models any time. ;)
Que tal mario, en donde puedo comprar una belleza de estas?
al pendiente de tu amable respuesta.

@MarioIArguello is the gain in foward flight speed attributed to more nose heavy canopy or aerodynamic effect
dangerdingo69 4 months ago
@dangerdingo69 a little bit of both.
