I've never done drugs except the drugs prescribed to me and its not that I'm against it I'm all for marijuana but other drugs should be gone but there is nothing wrong with pot and then if it's legalized the economy will shoot up and there will be thousands of people not in a jail or prison therefore less taxes for prisons and to support them it's a win win situation

@Badkiddemon i disagree with drugs accept for hemp(marijuana) other drugs are potentially very harmfull there would be less murders over drugs if the dea didnt spend 85% percent of there time on marijuana when crack coccaine is the real problem and if hemp was legalised and produced by responsible people there would be less desperation for drugs. a study in europe showed when a laws on marijuan where lightened use of hard drugs declined so it cant be a gateway drug

This is far from “the worst thing to happen to humanity” and it is so typical for these NA and rehab robots to think so, but it is one of the most ridiculous problems in humanity. Drugs are comparable to a tool, there are good and bad uses for each one, only the individual can make the drug bad or good for them. If you use a chainsaw to cut down trees, you will have good use of it, if you juggle chainsaws, you will cut you fucking arm off.

It also worked significantly here in the U.S. when we legalized the controlled substance alcohol. We still have a problem with alcohol these days but it was much worse when it was illegal. You may know it as prohibition, all other mind altering substances work the same way. If you make a mind altering substance illegal, especially an addictive one, you automatically give the control over it to the criminal underworld when it can be legal...

So why doesn’t this video go more into ways of helping this problem get better instead of just trying to shock people with pictures of the worst cases only, fake videos and approximate statistics? To stop the problems surrounding illegal drugs, especially violent crimes committed by people under the influence or drug dealers and such, is to legalize all drugs. Legalization of drugs worked in Portugal with extreme success.

To take care of most of the statistics in hear, the majority of drug related deaths are from misdiagnosis of drugs in hospitals combined with abuse of legal drugs is far higher than deaths from abuse of illegal drugs. People are always trying to blame the drugs but it is the people that are to blame.

It realy went bad. When i was in high school in the 80'S i never seen it . Nobody that i knew was taking any ,or wasn't talking about it .But the family thies were alot better . it's realy the plague of the 21st century . crystal meth is probly the most harmful illicit drug. all the illicit drugs combined are less harmful than alcohol and nicotine. the most damage by pot is caused by the heat of the joint, possibly causing respiratory damage. most junkies will steal from anyone, like moms and dads and laundry mats.

it's highly debatable whether oxy's more addictive. hard to really clinically prove this, since a control group would have to be on heroin and it'd be hard to ethically get a control group like that together for research purposes. i sniffed heroin once, started shooting an week later and used about every day for the next 3 months. then did abougt 14 days of withdrawal. now i use occasionally and don't think i'm addicted. what's up with that? i used vicodin once and got really sick from it

took awhile to get to the point. point is, not everyone who uses opiates gets addicted to them. depends how the body metabolizes the stuff, and how much of it is used every day. and the real damage from heroin is all the junk used to cut it.

After a back injury, I also took Oxycontin and eventually Dilaudid 8mg x3 (equivalent to 240mg morphine) intraveniously for over three years. When I ran out in between scripts I was introduced to heroin. After several overdoses and losing everything I once had, I am now completely clean and have been for over three years *only by the grace and mercy of God.

I think it is really hard to "over rate" this epidemic as you say. Play with fire you will get burned!

@1andycody LSD is extremely safe. Just sayin. Its actually been used to treat addiction to that "potentially harmless" drug known as opium (heroin, oxycontin etc..) with success. Psilocybin mushrooms have also produced the same results. Even ketamine, which is a totally different class of drug. A dissociative Anesthetic. while lsd and mushrooms are psychedelic hallucinogens. oh man i can go on and on but whatever, just try acid some day.

It will either destroy your life fast and entirely or it may kill you slowly and rob you of life a little bit at a time...either way it robs you of a truly happy, whole life. Well actually pot is harmless. Alchohol kills 80 pecent more people per year than any illegal drug. tobacco actualy has over 30 more cancer causing carcinogens than pot(witch has less than the smoke from a standard camp fire) Heroin is highly addictive but not nearly as much so as the media makes it. most users never hit there mothers and rob the laundry mat. they just give there life to pursute of the high and usualy after several years of ( exeseive use) become very un healthy.

I am certain that either you have never done heroin and you don't know what you're talking about, OR you are a heroin user in denial. Me and all my friends got introduced to heroin after having used Vicodin, Oxycontin, and other opiates recreationally for a few years and we all got hooked on the shit within just a couple weeks of occasional use. Every single one of us quickly became daily IV junkies...straight up bums.

@Badkiddemon TEN! Good job. And despite what some people are saying in the comments, I know first hand that nothing in this was an exaggeration of the COMMON ultimate result of drugs. That part with the guy at the end screaming "This wasn't supposed to be your life!" says it all. I've lived that skit and it is the most f*cked up reality you can imagine!

No way in hell will I ever touch another narcotic, stimulant, or other mind altering substance!!!
