  • how old is he?

  • he's gonna be 23 in june this year

  • on his forehand he does this motion with his non-hitting arm that's very distinctive of him.

  • Richard Gasquet最高。

    dokuto09

  • wouldn't it be a better warm-up if he hits it his hardest on lik 10% of the balls?!

  • i love the grip he uses on his forehand

  • I believe Haas as a good backhand as well.

  • Haas has a great one handed backhand for sure

  • Richard is soooooo CUTE! :)

  • Son revers est très beau. :D (Did I say that right in French? :p)

  • Yes !! I thought you were french ^^

Oui !! j'ai même pensé que tu étais français(e) ^^

  • gasquets backhand @____@ beautiful. did you guys know that in 2007 he moved from rank 13 to rank 8? :D thats 5 rankings up. cool huh?

  • he is like the only player now using a continental grip, its great cuz he uses it in a modern way

  • he doesnt use a continental grip, he actually uses an extreme eastern. but they are similar

  • what is an extreme eastern forehand? which bevel do you place your index knuckle?

i'm amazed by how much spin he can produce with the grip he's using.

  • It's what some say federer uses, the knuckle goes on the cross section between eastern and semi western

  • nope... he uses eastern... fyb made a great video about it

  • RICHARD GASQUET EST SI CHAUD!

et c'est aussi un bon joueur.

  • c'est vrai

  • Gasquet is a great player, personally I think his backhand is better than Federer's. Not that I am discrediting Fed, it is just that Gasquet is able to hit his backhand with a more open stance, and on good days really accurately as well.

  • I don't know. Overall, I would say level wise that they are about the same. Because if you watch Federer on the days when his backhand is on it is quite amazing just like Gasquet. Gasquet has a better down-the-line backhand probably, but either way they both have decent backhands. The number one backhand award goes to Nalbandian for sure though.

  • it's hard to compare gasquet and nalbandian's backhands, but i would say they both hit it with such confidence that they don't worry about swinging with too much power.

  • Gasquet reminds me of Federer

  • ALLEZ RICHARD

  • it's not always about big serves but it's about technique and as soon as you can read Roddick's serve placement and move him around and return those serve;Andy boy is toast.Murray,Haas and especially Federer have proven that.On a side note,it was nice to see Gasquet take Roddick down and I really hope that it's the start of better things to comes in Richard's career. He's got the game no question about that,he can work on getting stronger and fitter mentally.

  • interesting video but Roger has a better when he practices here...

  • He was umbelievable!

it was one of the best games i ve seen in a long time!

  • Yea against Roodick it was like wow what a player then Fed just fed ex'd him out

  • his was amazing against roddick!! 93 winners and 29 unforces errors!!...........this shud b a good year for him!! ale gasquet

  • he have the best backhand of the world

  • yeah i knw ive seen his backhand amazing love him
